I saw the date and had to click on the link. A lot of the details sound strangely similar to things I had mapped out in God Save the Prom Queen. My hands were shaking as I listened to it. April 18 is a significant date.
I was inspired to do an internet search for what years Easter Sunday has occured on April 18. To my very devout former Catholic nun mother, Easter is the biggest holiday of the year.
I hit paydirt on that. Easter occured on April 18 in the years 1954, 1965, and 1976. That would have been her 11th, and 22nd, and 33rd birthday. It won't occur again until 2049, which would be her 106th birthday should she be around that long. Should any of us be around that long?
God willing it's a Happy Birthday for you, Mom…and April 18 is an inconsequential day. May you live in uninteresting times indeed!
What was hard for me in reading the text about the videos, was to get past the photo of toe nail fungus. I just had trouble mixing the two or separating the two messages (18th and toe nail fungus. So what am I doing on the 18th? I don't know. I guess I'm going to find out.
