Covid Vaccine Uptake By Astrological Sign

There's a 24 point difference between the most jabbed zodiac and the least. Is astrology really a Pseudoscience?

Some years ago on Facebook an interesting meme was being passed around regarding well known serial killers and their astrological sign. Specifically this one:

Most people on facebook of course immediately looked for their sign on the list and then would share it, sometimes with a “Well I’m a Gemini so you’d better not mess with me” or an “I’m not on the list. Whew!” or “This explains my Sagittarius ex” or something of the sort. I was immediately fascinated by the sheer statistical improbability of the list above. Most of the names on it are indeed well known serial killers I have heard of. I checked birthdays of the first several names and they did indeed pan out with the sign listed above. I then tried to think, off the top of my head, of any serial killer I’d heard of who was not on the list. My mind came bizarrely to one: the Zodiac Killer. I was humoured when I realized that the so called Zodiac killer, who was never captured or identified, therefore has an unknown birthday.

But every one of the 26 names on the above list are congregated in 4 astrological signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. One air, one earth, one fire, and one water. That 26 serial killers all congregate in 1/3rd of the astrological signs is remarkable. The odds ratio of this happening by chance alone has to be billions to one. Imagine flipping a three sided die and having it land on the same result 26 times in a row.

Of course there is no firm agreement about the size of the dataset. Not every serial killer ever known is on the list and are mercenaries and military contractors included? Probably not. For the record though my hitman roommate was a Pisces, who had the same birthday as my Uncle Bruce, who I suspect, but certainly don’t know, might have done some bad things during the Vietnam war. So from my very limited personal observations I can’t refute that list either. Perhaps certain sun signs are more likely to become killers. If I had to guess the US Military would have definitely looked into this.

Astrology, of course, is considered a thoroughly debunked science. Let’s ask ChatGPT, that arbiter of truth as it were:

I think thou doth protest a bit too much, ChatGPT. The authoritative statements “not considered a valid scientific discipline” and “widely debunked” stand out to me. Widely debunked by whom? How were those studies set up? If there was one thing that would be easy to track it would be the birthdays of people.

This was uptake of Covid vaccines which was posted by the Salt Lake County (Utah) health department in late 2021. At the time the narrative was very pro vaccine. In the twitter thread I saw it posted on, I learned that Sasha Latpova was a Scorpio (as is Naomi Wolf, who shares a birthday with my paternal grandfather). Steve Kirsch and Dr McCullough are both late December Capricorns. Robert Malone is a late Libra, I’m pretty sure with an October 20 birthday. From the thread I also learned that the number (680,000) was extremely large, so presumably over 50,000 people in each astrological sign. There is almost certainly statistical significance between the highest uptake Leos and the lowest uptake Scorpios, say, with their 24 percentage point difference.

This list does not mean that every Leo took the jab or every Scorpio didn’t any more then being a Gemini means that you are a serial killer. Indeed I know a few Leos who didn’t get the jabs, such as Mr. BlueSphynx. Of my five August 1 Leos I know the Covid vaccine status of two of them, who couldn’t be more diametrically opposed: one is a MAGA republican living in red country rural Arkansas, who was vehemently outspoken about facemasks, Covid vaccines, lockdowns, you name it, to the point of shaming people who fell for the narrative. He made an outspoken fuss to a very fat out of shape woman who asked him to wear a facemask in a supermarket during the height of the Covid frenzy, apparently to a lot of clapping from bystanders when he tore her a new one for not taking care of her own health.

My actress friend August 1 Leo, however, went full on virtue signalling and I think might have even been paid off to promote Covid jabs. Her whereabouts are still unknown to me she and her 4 year old daughter have disappeared from cyberspace. All of her social media profiles are either completely deleted or something that hasn’t been updated in 10 years or more. I should watch CNN just to see if I see her and little Boo Boo pop up as crisis actors somewhere.

Almost everybody on the twitter thread from 2021 decried the Department of Health for wasting taxpayer money on their completely useless study on astrological signs. But the statistical correlation was far bigger than for much more broadcast variables like this one:

EVERYBODY talked about the difference in vaccine uptake between Democrats and Republicans. The news made out like MAGA retards were holding everybody back. The difference was far less than it was between Leos and Scorpios. Which one of these is real science and which is political science, again?

My guess is that Leo pride, leadership qualities and susceptibility to flattery were easier for the advertising campaign to capitalize on, while Scorpios tendency to look for hidden motives and distrusting nature made them more skeptical. But this is only a guess.
