Here's Hoping for a Wonderful 2023

I’ll leave an update on Paul the roommate. He is still in the hospital and still conscious. He has elevated enzymes and heart damage which doctors say is recent as it was not there on his last scan. He has surgery today to try to determine the extent of the damage. This does make me wonder if he recently took a fifth Covid vaccine which might have led to this.

Myocarditis and pericarditis are not temporary and mild conditions. I have already warned Mom that whatever is going on he is likely to experience a loss of mobility afterwards. I’m starting to wonder how many of the 1291 known side effects of safe and effective the roommate can rack up. But hey he does not have Covid! At least at this time.

I think I’ll pass on the jabs. Prayers are appreciated but we are prepared for anything. Wishing you all a wonderful New Year’s. The best thing about 2022 for me was that it wasn’t 2021, though as my daughter noted, technically 2564 was my hell year. It does feel like we turned a corner. Substack has been a lifeline and a lifesaver in so many ways. Thank you all.
