Funny story from yesterday: a gentleman approached us as we were eating noodles and drinking overpriced Carlson beer (like 10 ringgits for a 12 ounce can! That’s like over 5 dollars) waiting for a flight inside a 7 Eleven in Kuala Lumpur international airport in Malaysia. He kept on showering us with free chocolate and gifts from the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. We got to talking about singing and then he mentioned the Titanic song and I sang a few bars of it. So then he turned it on his phone and I sang it then I moved on to several other songs. Some of the ladies behind the counter started clapping at my rendition of Killing Me Softly. Anyways that is the second impromptu karaoke singing in four days for me. But it seems to draw in friends and bring people together like nothing else. Here’s a picture of the gentleman with my husband:
Where should I start randomly singing next?

Beautiful quote from Orwell.
As for those children with diabetes, I recall the mortician on “South Park” who pointed out that “death is least funny when it happens to a child.”
