I have been keeping up with updates on the Maui fires and also am watching regarding Hurricane Idalia. For the last few days though I was thinking about the brief time I spent in Lahaina. As I started going through videos and photos of the damage the memories started flooding back to me. As I went through pictures of Lahaina Shores Resort on their website I began to get chills.
They are blocking access to a lot of places in Lahaina. Many children’s whereabouts are still unknown. The mainstream media is still in blackout about it. The official death count still stands, three weeks later, at 115. It hasn’t moved and won’t move, because much as we saw with safe and effective Covid vaccines, the lies will be pushed regardless. They cannot let this house of cards collapse.
I consider it a good thing that this story is gaining traction from the alternative media. I have a high school classmate who lives on East Maui who has said that the entire island is suffering from the tourism drop since the fires. Many people who were not directly affected by this Op could well lose their homes to economic devastation downstream. Any good charity also needs to bring people in, though direct donations can be made through www.MauiLFG.org. There is also the Save Maui concert that Steve Kirsch highlighted.
