Some months ago after brother Tee left our bungalow I sorted through our little jewelry drawer where we kept buddha amulets and was horrified to discover that he’d taken every one he could find of those too. We’d had about 20 in there. I still had one left which was very small and kept at the bottom of my wallet, Ka had two which had been kept in a separate area, and I found one more that miraculously had been in the bottom of some papers drawer undiscovered. I set about learning beadwork and making necklaces to string the few amulets we had left. I learned somewhere that the three elements of gold, silver and copper contained energetic signatures most in line with the Earth’s electromagnetic field. I combined some broken Buddha necklaces, a 30 year old broken pearl and gold bead necklace given to me by my grandmother, some silver beads and some copper beads. So I spent about five hours making necklaces for my girls. Here is Eliza’s necklace:
