I actually watched the Superbowl last night. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. I am in Michigan in the Detroit area. This is some solid Midwestern advice for you:
It was my daughter’s 12th birthday yesterday and we had a party for her. My uncle asked me if I have had any epiphanies in my time in the snow. It’s cold here and I still have a headache.
I did call the Eagles for the win on the Superbowl. My uncle was commenting on my psychic ability to call winners, so much so that Grandpa Hawkins used to love taking me to the track at Del Mar with him when I was a little girl (my best streak there was 8 horses in a row). The thrashing the Philadelphia Eagles gave the Kansas City Chiefs, however, was so stunning it had me wondering if the former Superbowl Champs had been propped up by USAID money too. Then there was the whole President Trump getting cheered while Taylor Swift got booed thing.
Pepperidge Farm remembers. Maybe Swift’s soon to be ex boyfriend needs another booster shot (of money, that is). I told my sister in law that the scriptwriters weren’t getting paid anymore for the storybook three peat ring and ring marriage proposal.
The pendulum seems to be swinging back hard on woke.
This was a great read regarding what the DOGE team is doing:
"The administrative state runs on two things," a senior advisor explained, watching patterns emerge across DOGE's screens. "Control of information and money flows." His eyes tracked new connections forming in real-time. "We're not just exposing their networks—we're rewriting their DNA."
I wonder what all those unemployed media hacks will write about now?
I wonder if some of the copypasta “popular” substack writers were getting USAID subscribers..
We managed to get a family picture with my brother and the five girls all together, even if Miranda is looking at Joe in this shot. Both Eliza and my niece Maddie’s biological fathers are deceased, as he passed away at 47 years old last March of a possibly jab fueled turbo cancer. Time is precious.
Make the moments count…
For headaches - get someone to feel around the base of your skull, at the back of your head - there is a ridge there, with an index finger, hard pressed. Any sore spots, work out with the finger hard applied. After a while your headache will go away. Also follow the jaw line up to the joint where our jaw hinges and work the muscles there too (just under the ears) this combined method works really well with just about any sort of headache - and when you do it to someone with a headache, which quickly goes away, they will regard you almost as if you are a God.
Glad the bank is closed! About time this money needs to be used here in the States!! Hope your headaches get resolved. Taylor Swift gets booed,
We are heading in the right direction.
