It seems to me that financialization of everything has reached its logical endpoint of chaos. To keep the current system afloat we have to pay somebody to mess things up and then pay somebody to try to fix them. The victims of this are just numbers in a financial spreadsheet.
My prayers are ith the victims of the airplane and helicopter collision. The stairway to heaven is not for sale.
You can have doubts regarding the RFK Jr. confirmation hearings and the turn of the MAHA movement towards the harms of processed food and away from vaccines all you want. I still think this is an obvious upgrade from what we had going on before. Beyond that the Democrats shrill protests seem to be drawing more attention to the health crisis and the role of the medical industrial complex in worsening it.

Trump is changing things. I am paying attention to the repercussions of all of this upheaval. I don’t need or require the National Institute of Health or corporate funding to do some market research. I am currently located in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. I have a front door which I can walk out of and I even have a running vehicle! Plus that I need to use it to make money. That extra $1000 I now owe on Ka’s visa waiver, plus the cost of flights back to Thailand and whatnot, have to be paid for somehow.
So I am going to list some data points which I see on the ground.
On the one hand, all of this was very good and desperately needed.
On the other hand the situation for humanity resembles this plus interest right now. This is especially true in government, where I’d guess that 90% could be cut off and most people’s lives would improve for not being harassed.
So there seems to be a few things at odds regarding debt, efficiency and abundance. If our current monetary system must expand no matter what then inefficiency must increase as everything is financialized. Efficient systems lead to abundance but abundance has lower monetary value. Scarcity must be maintained by creating problems: by paying people to blow up bridges and then paying other people to fix them.
What other jobs are there? They have to keep this Internet of Bodies thing alive to milk humans to the greatest extent financially possible…
I don’t think AI is approaching a singularity or even that it can do so. There are too many questions for humanity which do not have definitive answers. Many of those things have scarcely been studied or counted because they had no financial value. It is possible that AI can see vast patterns which are hidden to humans, but to what end would such insight be deployed?
I think it is useful for enslavement of the masses because it can be programmed to delay deny and dead people with no accountability or repercussions. Lately while on food deliveries in Las Vegas I have been using Google’s navigator. I’d say the navigator has a significant mistake on one in five trips. It often tells me to drive into apartment complexes say through a closed gate. If somebody’s address or location is too close to a road on the other side of a wall it will route me to that road where I would have to scale a wall or a very tall fence to get through to the person on the other side. The navigator also sometimes lies about the addresses as I discovered one night when I was looking for a woman who definitely lived next door from where Google claimed the house was.
I’m not impressed by the navigator. And despite some improved features such as routing me to a specific apartment unit as opposed to the central management office, the system has not improved one bit since I delivered food during the Pandemic in 2020. I’d argue it is a little worse than it was five years ago.
I apologize to my readers for not posting too much lately, but I’ve been busy bee trying to scrape together some funds to get back to Thailand and be with my husband. The $930 visa denial waiver is its own mess and we pretty much need to set up shop in the Land of smiles again, which involves finding work, housing, transportation and what not. I am aware of the dropping of the Covid jab mandate on immigrant visas. I don’t trust them at all regardless. The government employee way is to extract as much money and pain out of the populace as is physically possible.
In the meantime, however, a child who was born either in the Year of the Dragon (if you believe Google) or in the Year of the Snake (if you believe her Thailand birth certificate) is turning 12 soon, which involves some side travel of its own. For the first time since I began this humble substacks in 2021, I may be writing next week from my birthplace of Toledo, Ohio. God willing and God speed.
So far the world has not ended over Trump’s actions. Food prices have not skyrocketed as migrants walk out of their food processing jobs. The local Home Depot still looks normal, but Las Vegas was never a sanctuary city and Nevada even flipped Republican recently. I am still getting deliveries, though I have noticed a slowdown this week. I have zero sympathy for bureaucrats who have made my life Hell for several years losing their jobs, their benefits, or anything else. I’d say they should find a real job, but what else would they be qualified to work at? This is a problem all across the board. A world of abundance would require a great financial reset.
Therein perhaps lies the rub…
Sad but true, all of it!!! I had a strange thought about television yesterday, I suppose this is as good a place as any to see if anyone else questions this? TV upon creation was only for entertainment and no more, so I think it’s far to see everything on tv as nothing more than entertainment, it’s just there to keep us busy, the news is nothing more than entertainment this explains all the lies, they are all warranted from that perspective! this is why there is always something else taking place that has dire consequences while we are being entertained with tragedies, elections, and cartoons!!!! Does anyone else see where I’m going with this? I think we need become unoccupied and take a drastically different approach. It’s us, we are asking for entertainment so the powers that be are giving it to us. I’m a brutally honest person i try to look at things from a brutally honest perspective. What lead me to this thought was try to help my son to understand what lying by omission is, and how the government tricks us into consensus by leaving out details. We become just as guilty as them because we are asking for government while we are asking our selves why government is so evil. For those i just confused I apologize, but I hope this makes sense to someone out there? I believe this type of deception to be just the tip of the iceberg, I think gets a lot more tricky. The name of the game is free will we asking for tragedy, unhappiness and pain and then we are completely surprised when these horrible things take place.
