I have been busy bee at the Las Vegas house. One thing I have not been doing much of is looking at any screen for any reason, which includes Substack. I’ve still been touching in with my favorite writers here and there, but my apologies if there’s been a lot that I’ve missed. If you have read something or wrote something thought provoking lately, please share it in the comments. I appreciate you all.
On that note though I thought I’d share some personal photos. I’m still working on the tiny house, but it’s been tough due to my lack of help. A second able bodied person would come in handy for it. So would being able to find the right tool at the right time. It’s been slow going.
This house was bought as a foreclosure special by my parents in around 2010. The grass was brown and the pool was green, as the Las Vegas expression goes. Only one plant survived the lack of watering, that being a very well established ash tree in the back yard. Otherwise the entire yard was a barren desert.
This wall had substantial water damage. I thought I should paint a mural on it:
