My headaches have been much better and I meant to mention this: I am not a big believer in magic bullet types of relief but I did have something that seemed to do just that. I went to a local Isaan pharmacy where they offered me acetaminophen (Tylenol) for my migraines and also suggested Fa Tai Lai Jones for my cough. I had heard of this Thai herbal treatment before we had a friend in Phuket who swore by it for Covid-19 but as we had no coughs, colds or symptoms of any such thing back then I never bothered with it. My headache had been pounding that day when I went into the pharmacy but I really try to avoid Tylenol as that is not a fix just a mask. But I took one of these Fai Tai Lay Jones pills as we walked through Bang Tong market to buy food for dinner. By the time we walked out 15 minutes later my headache which had been I the background at levels of discomfort between a 2 and 7 for a few days completely vanished. I've finished off the 10 pills but the headaches really have not come back. My cough is much improved too!
What is most interesting there on the Fai Ta Lai Jone is I was suggested it for my dry cough that hadn’t gone away for two months. This was totally appropriate based on the very little I knew of it (good for Covid-19? Maybe?). Instead it wiped out my headache completely almost as soon as it hit my stomach
I am glad you are feeling better. My husband had a cancer treatment yesterday and an hour ago he vomited a lot after feeling ill for several hours tonight. I hope those are not related.
Prayers for your husband. Most mainstream cancer treatments (ie Chemotherapy and radiation) do have nausea as a side effect. It tends to be a delayed action though. I hope he feels better…
You may wish to investigate additional therapy's that Dr. Bill Makis has discussed, as they are "cheap", and have begun to go "mainstream". (They are repurposed anti-parasitic drugs that has safety records that are beyond "aspirin"! The cancer treatment industry is doing everything they can to suppress this information), beauty is that they can be used "on top of the STANDARD of CARE model that's basically "horse shit"!) Best of luck to you and your hubby. In the end, we're all just "brothers and sisters"! Even Mel Gibson discussed 3 friends with stage 4 cancer, on a Joe Rogan podcast, which went into in total remission after the application of the anti-parasitic drugs. (Besides that, when one has cancer, "What do you have to lose but a few hundred feral reserve notes that aren't worth as much as they were yesterday????)
It takes a "brave soul" to wear such a garment, and I could do it (maybe) if I were you! By the way, "you appear to be quite fearless" which is a tremendous gift, and compliment that I rarely bestow on "anyone". You did wear it quite well, despite not being a youth, I may say. Your story is just so funny and ridiculous at the same time! I promise you the locals noticed you in ways that got you more attention in one evening, that most people don't get in 20 years! There's a divine quality in that, that shakes people to their core! We are all "different" and that's a quality endowed by the creator. Glad you had fun! I appreciate your "authenticity" and it's a very, very rare quality of goodness! I'll express it in another way! My Thai wife has known that I thoroughly like Isaan sausage (fermented with Lactobacillus rice), and since I'm a ketogenic practitioner, I said "skip the rice", we can do this with "sauerkraut". She did, and the results were amazing, and "fast"! I'll leave you with this final thought - "we were born perfect, just be yourself", and I think you are doing that! (When God made me, it was his test of pushing the limits! I think I may understand why I find everything funny). Amy, just be your "amazing" self! You've got a gift there! Husband Ka is likewise a gift! Glad you found him! Have a supreme day! Give the kiddies all the hugs they need!
In the end, "we're all just brothers and sisters"!
What is that "body sock" called that you're wearing in your photo?
I don't think I could wear one, I could not pull it off as well as you did!
Were I to wear one, I might be hit on by the Slavs, as in "Borat", glad I removed my moustache 12 years ago! I think Borat's was more a "singlet" used in wrestling. That funny grin you're wearing says something!!! (empaths know) 555! 555! Have a wonderful day as well! You're really funny!
Holy cow, If I wore a body sock thing like that, I would be inside a Thai jail for 25 years! How did you get away with it? The big story is the photo you shared! You have a really bold and carefree spirit, and I think that's a good thing! That grin says everything! Glad your wellness has improved!
My favorites are the trad Thai women that get all gussied up in Thai trad and do that marvelous dance in stories! Fingers that curve 60 degrees backwards!
Have fun, be kind, and watch your jealous neighbor! You're going to generate some "talk about the town" among both genders. Promise. Just don't create too much havoc for husband (Kai?)
You'll be called "interesting". (I get a bit of attention almost everywhere I travel over there, whether it's nurses, female cabbies, or just females I encounter, even the really old women just get beside themselves "if I give them a hug", my spouse "likes the affirmation, as well').
Have fun! Life is really short after one retires. I notice at my family photos, "none of the Thai guy's smile"? I've contemplated this and haven't arrived at a conclusion yet. Do you have an answer, or perspective? If I have an arm around an aunt, or sister, "they are beaming", but maybe that's just personality? IDK.
What is hilarious regarding that skintight dress is that it was given to me. Some Thai ladies in the neighborhood offered us bags of clothes most of which was for very petite Thai women and hence did not fit me. But this outfit did albeit skintight and the ladies who saw me in it thought very sexy and that I should wear it for the concert! So I did. Considering the house we are staying in was being used as a dressing area for the dancers on stage, who were dressed very provocatively as were many of the ladyboys in the parade and the crowd, this was a very good environment to pull it off. I actually have a second skintight dress from that bag of clothes that is even sexier but the chance passed to wear that one.
I do get a lot of attention here but I'm probably more comedic relief than anything else. A kind police officer named Maitee gave me and my husband a ride back to the house after the concert finished on its final night at the not ridiculously late midnight hour. I suppose one lady seemed a little inappropriately interested in Ka, but Mother Phorkwang's look said it all when she walked up and my husband was able to shut down her advances. As for me if anything Thai women seem to dig me more than the men do (not that I swing that way per say).
My husband says he only has eyes for me and has never behaved in a manner that indicates otherwise. I feel the same exact way about him. That said that was quite a party!
Great meme collection this time. Thanks. I needed that.
It's slightly more optimistic...
You look good.........how have the headaches been?

Thank you for your concern and information.

That is one hefty rat! In adulthood kitten could move on to restraining drug traffickers.
Great title to name this great 😊 share !
