Am I the only one who enjoys Leap Days as like a free bonus day in the year? Greetings from the last day of February (and yes, I currently am in a time zone where it still is the last day of February for the next few days). It seemed like a good day to post some random tidbits. I do sometimes ponder the gullibility of people on all sides of an equation:
You can write anything on top of a meme. Why would a news studio or newspaper be any different? They are compensated to write BS, for now:
Editors note: I think they mispelled Vuitton…
Speaking of making memes alternative social media platform head Andrew Torba has said that beginning March 1 his site will no longer be able to host photographs or videos for free users. Although I sometimes have to do a lot of digging to find gems, I do post a fair numbers of memes which I find on Gab. This seems like an extreme and probably counterproductive move for Gab to do and I feel especially bad for the advertisers on his site. It does raise broader questions about paid versus free content and underscores how difficult it is to make a living if you do not toe the corporate/government line and go work for one of those places instead. That said I expect that a healthy ecosystem is always going to have a vast majority of free subscribers for various reasons. It seems odd to take out so many meme makers. Perhaps they will find a workaround:
Some people don’t trust giving out their billing information! PS: Please don’t leave this information in my comments section where anyone can see it. ;-)
I guess I could go back to Facebook?
I was reading a list of the strangest things discovered about a relative after they died. This is my top pick from that list. Who the heck is Steve? I want to hear that story!
This guy had way too much time on his hands. Was he Mormon, perchance?
I think going to the movies cost more than $10 nowadays. Just saying…
Don’t worry somebody is getting rich out there!
The current status quo does seem a little corrupt:
I suppose the bigger question is, how do we fix it?
Hope you all are enjoying your free day!
"I still haven't figured it out (when the government worked half my shift)!"
These are great, Amy, say hi to everyone for me.
I relate to the electricity bill meme.
