Me and my Family are all in good Health. Never underestimate the power of that
We have enough food to eat. Here’s my quick Thanksgiving day recipe. Since we only have one gas burner I threw everything into the same pan: chicken breast, potatoes, garlic cloves, shallots, carrots and green beans, coated the chicken with salt and oyster sauce and simmered everything in water. Afterwards I made mashed potatoes and green beans and carrots as sides. It would have been great with cranberry sauce, but that is hard to find here (as is turkey)
That I don’t live in China. (have they banned hammers, rocks and slingshots yet? asking for a friend). Actually I’m grateful for China showing what the end game is. It is not looking pretty.
I am incredibly grateful for all of the viewership and support I have received on substack. 2021 was the worst year of my adult life on so many levels. I posted a few things about the unfolding totalitarianism, but I averaged two views per week for my content. My two books had two sales and no reads or views even when I ran free promotions. I am incredibly thankful for the support of my family, but outside of them I had no one. Mask mandates in Thailand were enforced with such zeal that I practically could not go out in public. News sites in Thailand were so about the narrative as were the comments sections that I became depressed reading them. Ditto for facebook, as I watched many long term friends disappoint me with their fear and lack of critical thinking.
I had a few long time antivaxxer websites which I read such as Natural News and Vaccine Impact. I first started reading substack due to some posts by Margaret Anna Alice which I found on Lew Rockwell. Soon I started reading Steve Kirsch. BlueSphynx found me somewhere and I discovered that there are actual people in Thailand who are and were opposed to the narrative. I discovered many new writers often in the comments section of something else. From Sage Hana, Igor Chudov, Toby Rogers, Meryl Nass, Celia Farber and Jeff Childers. The other side has thrown billions, perhaps trillions, of dollars at selling their story. Yet it is being unwound by the cancelled, suppressed, banned, unfunded and underfunded. I couldn’t be more grateful. Some of the overview posts I’ve read such as Dr. Toby Rogers regarding autism in children and Cynthia Chung’s excellent work deconstructing the actual costs of carbon neutral energy are the best I’ve read anywhere. It’s like I’m seeing real science again, which must, for the sake of humanity, be untethered from a system that rewards sociopaths, liars, criminals, frauds and the most unethical. Think of the children.
So what are you thankful for?
