I was hanging out on the Covid19 twitter thread and found this doctor’s post regarding jabbing her little ones. What I didn’t find was a single reply that was supportive of what she said. I posted some of the many replies that stood out to me.

6/6 As a parent with 2 under 5, if I can prevent death for my girls (whether it's ranked 5th or 8th) I will do so in a heartbeat. Especially considering the risks of vaccines are very, very small. Of course, COVID19 death isn't the only outcome either. End.

@dr_kkjetelina Thank you for addressing this issue. I think it’s more than a nuance when 26 months of deaths are compared with 12, without an obvious disclaimer. It’s going to create more doubt in the CDC and further erode trust. Give people the data straightforwardly to make choice.

The FDA panel had a slide that claimed that Covid-19 was the 4th or 5th leading cause of death in children. It was an obvious attempt to scare parents into jabbing, and the data sounded wrong to me. There was a good takedown of that posted here. Among other major errors the analysts apparently aggregated 26 months of Covid-19 deaths in children and compared it to yearly totals of all other death causes. It also turns out that swimming pools are four times as deadly as Covid to 1 to 4 year olds.

There’s something else wrong there though. This is a chart of top teen causes of death for those 13-17 by year.

Beyond the fact that not many teens die in general in a given year (say 35 per 100,000), does anyone else notice the huge jumps in 2020 and 2021? In 2020 suicide, homicide, and accidents seemed to jump higher (probably lockdown related) and Covid deaths are so miniscule you’d have to squint to see them. In 2021 the continued increase is related to another increase in Covid and a huge jump in other causes.

What are other causes? Things like dying peacefully in your sleep? This age group has had the conjabs under Emergency Use Authorization for the second half of 2021. I’d be curious how deaths stack by month and age.

Of course Covid is a bigger cause of death in 2021, which underscores that the jabs don’t seem to be working. Always start with that as the underlying premise. The facemasks don’t work, the vaccines don’t work, the lockdowns, social distancing, all this other nonsense, does not work. It is all risk and no benefit. I suspect the medical field has quietly squandered decades of blind trust. I for one am happy about that.
