There's a Strange Rumor that Xi Jinping is Under House Arrest

Today was the first day of the Phuket Vegetarian Festival which I partake in almost every year. It’s just for nine days based on the ninth lunar moon from old Chinese practices. I am not perfect with my cleanses I try to do vegetarian, not vegan. I still like my grilled cheese sandwiches and put my homemade mayonnaise on lots of things and might accidentally get a seasoning with a Thai language label that has some non vegetarian ingredient and whatnot. But the timing and significance of this being a holiday started by the ethnic Chinese had me wondering about this odd twitter rumor that Xi Jinping is going out of power. Is this for real?

We live in a Post Truth world and part of what I try to do is sift through psyops, red herrings and troll accounts. Usually this involves stepping back and taking a big picture view and not becoming emotionally invested in something that you don’t know personally is true. For example this was posted by one of the parody accounts that I follow:

Not a single person regrets taking the covid vaccine.

I follow three satire accounts all found because they were posting ridiculously pro Covid “vaccine” narratives. This one was up to over 13000 replies, which reliably became a treasure trove of information about jab injuries and deaths. Very few people seemed to notice that this was a satire account, meaning that they will say anything including lies to drive attention and clicks. Always ask yourself if the person is a bot or satire. They’ve been front running lately: they almost always have pronouns, are doctors, and have emojis of jabs, the Ukraine flag, the LGBTQ flag et cetera.

There’s a new one trending involving ChinaCoup and Xi Jinping supposedly being under house arrest. This would obviously be huge if it is true and there is a military takeover of the country. But is it true, and how do we find out?

This is where I divide up two types of people that can help: witnesses and experts. A witness is somebody who just happens to be there on the ground when an event occurs. I was in Las Vegas when the Harvest Festival mass shooting occurred, so I consider myself a witness in this case. The official narrative that a lone gun nut snapped and injured over 500 and killed 58 by shooting from his hotel window was absurd.

I shot a gun very similar to the one this Stephen Paddock had supposedly used 10 miles away the afternoon after the shooting. I am not great with guns but the fish in a barrel theory made absolutely zero sense. The Las Vegas mega casinos are huge, and Paddock therefore was very far away from the crowd below. Also in a three dimensional world that gun kicks up into the sky or jams down into the hotel floor. I don’t think those injury or death numbers would have been possible in that span of nine minutes by a single person even if he had opened up fire in the middle of the crowd.

Nobody died in Las Vegas was trending on the conspiracy websites at the time, however. I could discard that as a red herring immediately, though I cannot validate that the death numbers are what they said they are. A friend said his nephew was at the concert and his girlfriend was shot and injured. A man standing behind me at a gas station was asking for updates on his injured friend. These people were not plants and in a city of 2.2 million the numbers sounded about right. But what had killed and injured these people at the concert?

Start with the main big picture premise, the root lie, and don’t get caught up in smaller details. The World Trade Center buildings did not fall on September 11 due to being hit by airplanes (the pancake theory). Stephen Paddock did not kill 58 and injure 550 by shooting a bunch of submachine guns Rambo like in a hotel room (the fish in a barrel theory). Now identify the experts. These people will change with every situation. It might be a structural engineer, a virologist, a ballistics expert, a gun nut, or a LEO who knows the standard protocol during school shootings. For example Sage Hana had an interesting one about what was killing all of the cattle during the summer heatwave. In the mainstream it has all been blamed on climate change:

Who would be my expert here? I’d guess someone like Clive Bundy who’d been raising cattle for generations in the hot desert sun. He’d probably have a great idea of how likely that many cows would die from a heatwave alone. Now at least you’re starting to get somewhere.

A lot of the planned psyops have elements that intentionally steer the conspiracy theorists down dead ends that separate them from the witnesses and the experts. For example I have read the book Nobody Died at Sandy Hook. I noticed that it relied on a lot of things such as health notices that the school was closed and real estate transactions that could themselves have been planted evidence. Who would be my witness here? Probably Mrs. Smith whose lived across the street from the school her whole life. She’d probably have a great idea whether the school was closed or not, as kids going to school every day is something you don’t miss. If she knows it was open she’s going to lump everybody trending that theory as a nut. This is exactly as planned.

In say a murder trial those witnesses are very important. If Mr. Jones saw the killer shoot somebody with his own eyes that carries a great deal of weight, more than circumstantial evidence that the killer had bought a gun or had a life insurance policy worth millions on their spouse. Curiously in medicine this has all been discarded. If your jabbed mother drops dead six months after her last Covid “vaccine” that’s anecdotal, circumstantial, correlation is not causation et cetera. What are you, some sort of crazy anti-vaxxer?

So is Xi Jinping under house arrest? Is the military taking over Beijing? Or is it just a twitter bot campaign? It’s been a crazy year and it’s likely to get crazier. It’s too soon to tell but I do follow a few people who are in China as I wanted on the ground video from lockdowned Shanghai.

The totality of video evidence from there made the Zero Covid policies look like Hell on Earth. I’m only thankful to China for giving a glimpse of the nightmare they have planned for everywhere. I think tyrants are going to tyrant and the fight everywhere has always been the people against the elite. Still, to go scorched Earth and clearly cause death and suffering on a mass scale was not a policy that looked stable to me. The biohazard storm troopers did not indicate strength. Taiwan and Hong Kong are soon going to be dropping their restrictions.

This war might be more winnable than you think…but it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
