What Diseases are Subject to US Federal Isolation and Quarantine Law?
The Answer is More Than You Think
Katherine Watt and Sasha Latypova have been doing some interesting work regarding taking down the designation of quarantinable communicable diseases. I want to throw my hat in the ring and add some things to this discussion.
MY HUSBAND is technically under some type of quarantine, in that they will not make his visa to travel with me to my home in the USA without him clearing a very vague asymptomatic but maybe transmissible somehow tuberculosis diagnosis based on chest x-rays. Now the doctor at Bumrungrad hospital is claiming that the only way to clear the possible diagnosis is with a sputum test, so greetings from Bangkok. This might be good in the sense that I determined, albeit belatedly, that this has absolutely nothing to do with public health whatsoever and everything to do with money and power. So how much does a negative sputum test cost?
My experience has radicalized me into realizing that the entire communicable disease act is about restricting movements and making busy work. But to highlight the absurdity in this discussion, I decided to look up what diseases are quarantinable on the Health and Human Servies website for the USA. My comments are below each listed disease. With all of the concern over potential Covid quarantine camps few noticed the many supposedly communicable diseases already on the list:
What diseases are subject to Federal isolation and quarantine law?
By Executive Order of the President (I think it is fascinating that this was done by executive presidential order), federal isolation and quarantine are authorized for these communicable diseases:
Cholera
This is a really strange choice because cholera, last I checked, is caused by drinking water with contaminated human fecal matter in it. As disgusting as that premise sounds, I think most of us can agree that it is not easily communicable per say. Water sanitation is a good idea and one still thankfully enjoyed by most of the world.
Beyond that though, I'd assume that if I drank contaminated water, it would not be surprising if I became ill afterwards. Now cholera is treated with an oral rehydration solution and I'd assume with some bed rest it goes away like many other food bourne illnesses. But why is it on this list of diseases that merit quarantine?
Diphtheria
I was surprised to discover that diphtheria still exists, as I'd read that it had been eradicated in the United States. This is one of those times where they've claimed that vaccination (with DTAP, that is Diphtheria- Tetanus-Pertussis for children or TDAP for adults) has made all of the difference, even though this jab is given everywhere in the world and increases the mortality rate of baby girls by 10 times in Africa.
Apparently diphtheria is caused by a bacteria that, like the next one on the list, they claim spreads from person to person through coughing and sneezing. According to the WHO children under 5 are especially at risk of death from it. It's treated with a series of antibiotics which for personal reasons I am highly suspiscious of. Shouldn't your prior vaccine save you from this one anyways?
Infectious tuberculosis
This is exactly where I am at, so I have done some research on this. Unfortunately most of it involved clicking on a link to a link to another link which brought me, say, to the web page of a Thai group who entitled their petition, in English "We Are Not Sick." That one regarded young Thai people seeking student visas to travel to other countries who were caught up in a TB diagnosis at their medical check which affected their education, cost them a lot of time and money, and led to social ostarization. Because these were buried links and my computer crashed I have not been able to recover most of them. What I discovered is that diagnosing and treating TB based on chest X-rays with a lack of symptoms appears to be a cottage industry in the right circumstances.
I noticed in trying to determine the difference between asymptomatic TB and the other kind that there recently was a word change: asymptomatic/symptomatic has been replaced with noninfectious/infectious. Why does that make a difference? Well for one thing most people can observe what symptomatic TB looks like: it involves coughing, including a hacking cough that will not resolve up to coughing up blood, fever, and symptoms of wasting away such as weight loss. Infectious TB, on the other hand, requires a medical professional to scrutinize blood tests, chest radiographs and sputum tests. It puts all of the power in the doctor's hands regardless of what your lying eyes might tell you about a person's state of health.
The treatment for TB is even worse, as I found another group which had members from several countries who were suffering from long term effects from the medicine. Some of the side effects include seizures, liver damage, anaphalaxis and thoughts of suicide. The four antibiotics have a low success rate of clearing TB assuming that you can get through the grueling six month course still functioning, which only 41% of those given this treatment were able to do. It's a suicide mission that could potentially never clear on this path, an indefinite detention if you will. The sad thing here is that with antibiotic resistence such a big problem in Asia, one would assume that you would want to only use these on people who are very sick and perhaps in desperate need of it. How can you tell if your symptoms went away when there are no symptoms?
Ka, meanwhile, is not sick. I'd think if something was going to draw out some latent but maybe infectious lung disease it would be one month straight of rainy weather, but he seems the same as always, notwithstanding the less than useless, dangerous medicine, which did give him a rash and led to decreased liver function. I refuse to quarantine from my husband over this nonsense so let's say that I have volunteered myself for the cause of science. I am not sick either, but there's no way in Hell I'm getting tested unless I'm actively dying. Among other things they went back to requiring facemask use over it!
Am I now terrified of doctors? Yes. Am I missing my daughters to the point where I worry if I will ever see them again? Yes. Am I filled with a sense of hopeless dread at this never ending, forever grinding on torture that this five year shitshow to make my husband a visa to come to America has become? Yes. Am I angry at the entire warped system of political science and monetary policy that has captured all of these foot soldiers in its thrall? Absolutely. Losing my hope for humanity? Yes, though a lot of that damage was done by and since Covid. This is just a continuation on from it.
Perhaps it's all of the rainy weather. On the other hand I'm starting to think that the thoughts of suicide that accompanies the terribly useless and dangerous TB medicine might be a psychological artifact of the hardship created by the indefinite detention. Technically as a contact of my maybe infectious husband, I can be quarantined in the USA too! Yes, really. Just for being his contact.
Plague
The plague was yet another disease that I was shocked to learn still exists, though apparently around 7 people in the US contract it each year, usually the bubonic plague form of it. The plague is supposedly spread from bites from fleas and was called the Black Death in Europe during the Middle Ages, when it supposedly wiped out 1/3rd of the population. What is fascinating is in trying to determine why the plague went away. There is no vaccine for it, which is probably why its disappearance gets mentioned so rarely, as is true of typhoid, scarlet fever and a few other old school diseases you don’t hear much about anymore. So what happened here?
Smallpox
Smallpox is supposedly the true greatest vaccine success story, having been declared eradicated globally by the WHO in 1980. What I find most interesting here is that the Jynneos vaccine against Monkeypox or mpox was originally created for smallpox. Are the mad scientists trying to bring back an eradicated disease with their jabs, or was smallpox simply reclassified as other related diseases after it was declared eradicated?
Yellow fever
Yellow fever is supposedly caused by a mosquito bite spreading the disease from one person to another in endemic countries, some of which in Africa require yellow fever vaccination for entry. Other countries next door to those countries do not recommend the vaccine. I’m sure mosquitos respect borders.
Viral hemorrhagic fevers
Viral hemorrhagic fevers are often mosquito bite spread diseases which include yellow fever as listed above, dengue fever, ebola, zika, marburg, and lassa fever. This has been a favored group for vaccine trials and fear mongering as the illnesses affect many body organs, can cause internal bleeding and have high death rates with onset of serious symptoms.
The more I read regarding the matter the more it appears to be fear mongering. They claim that spread can occur through rodents and through close bodily exchange of fluids. The spread appears haphazard and sporadic and nobody knows why some become so ill while others are unaffected.
The mosquito supposedly responsible for the spread, the aedis aegypti subspecies, exists in every equatorial and temperate climate, inluding in the Southern United States. Bill Gates made news of trying to stop some of these diseases by funding genetically modifying the mosquitoes so that they didn’t reproduce. Much like ideas to block the sun to block global boiling I have my doubts about the assumptions that led to this.
Severe acute respiratory syndromes
SARS-Cov-1 was the first prominent one which was used to fearmonger throughout Asia, leading to widespread facemask usage and setting a WHO template for totalitarian lockdowns in China, Singapore and other places.
SARS-Cov-2 is also known as Covid. All of these are claimed to be spread by coughing, sneezing, and close contact. You likely already know the story on this one.
Flu that can cause a pandemic
A flu that can cause a pandemic sounds like a vague definition which could be used to suit the lockdown and quarantine agenda at any time as it is deemed fit to do so.
Measles
Measles outbreaks have been used as a wedge to expand vaccine mandates on several occassions, most prominently with the elimination of religious or de facto medical exemptions for children attending school in California with SB277.

I thought this tidbit related to amendment of foreign quarantine laws was notable for the date. They were setting the legal framework in place beforehand:
Interim Final Rule for Control of Communicable Diseases: Foreign Quarantine
On February 6, 2020, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and CDC issued an Interim Final Rule to amend its Foreign Quarantine regulations, to enable CDC to require airlines to collect, and provide to CDC, certain data regarding passengers and crew arriving from foreign countries, for the purposes of health education, treatment, prophylaxis, or other appropriate public health interventions, including travel restrictions. This Interim Final Rule was effective on February 7, 2020, and written comments were invited for submission before March 13, 2020. The interim final rule is published on the Office of the Federal Register's website.
So far okay in Bangkok regarding my husband’s sputum tests. He has had real difficulty producing sputum which requires him to try to do this deep thing to bring it to the surface. Being that he is asymptomatic he does not need to cough, obviously. I find the collection information fascinating in that this disease that is supposedly transmissible through some droplets hanging in the air after he sneezes, say, has very detailed instructions for getting a sample which can be tested. It should be done first thing in the morning, prior to eating or drinking anything and involves some crazy deep breathing exercise:
Even if they are able to find and isolate this TB bacterium from these samples, what does that translate to in real world terms in my husband’s body? It does not seem to be translating into any type of meaningful disease symptoms and being that I am a close contact I have no symptoms either. Could other things more wholistic and complex than our limited understanding be going on here? Of course they would be. No supposed virus, bacteria, antigen, antibody or electromagnetic phenomena stands alone in isolation.
How many of you have had the experience of you or a loved one having a very symptomatic condition in which doctors either: A: Never determined the cause of it or B: Diagnosed it much later and possibly too late or C: Misdiagnosed the cause? A lot of the testing and the dogma is based on the teaching at the time and usually follows the money. That which is not looked for is not found.
Individual rights are crushed as inconsequential at best. At worst our connection to others and the world is viewed as a bargaining chip to force our compliance. The video of NYC’s Covid czar bragging about orgies during lockdown was a prime example. What fascinated me about it was that it was clear that those in charge had no fear of the virus.
No, they don’t feel sorry for what they did. They saved lives, somehow, by making us all so miserable that we chose the vaccine, even if it harmed or killed us. The consequences of being forcefully seperated and personally destroyed were somehow worth it for the greater good of nonsense.
I was fascinated by this follow up because in these formerly Project Veritas honeypot trap hidden camera things, I’ve been wondering about how the date supposedly gets these officials to admit to so much freely. I’d assume the date is hot (aka very pretty), but I’ve spent my adult life as a very pretty woman who knows a bunch of very pretty women. To a certain type of guy with money and power there’s pretty people as a dime a dozen.
I found the date’s cute answer “Oh he’s a public health official. He’s very smart!” That is so laughable. Is that all it actually takes? A pretty face AND buttering up the guy’s ego? In this case I don’t think I could do it so props to the investigator.
The short answer is no, they are not sorry for what they did. Which means they will do it all over again if we let them.
Isn’t there a better way forward in healthcare?
Yes there is a better way forward for health care, but this "government solution" isn't it.
But the idea that (whatever crap is in) the whackscene CAN be exhaled and then inhaled by all the people around you is very real; SELF SPREADING VACCINES are proven in gov. writings/patents. It's why I am refusing to live with anyone who is recently vaxxed with anything, because they are putting the bad jizz in many many medical products.
