Honestly it looks like you had a much better 2020 than a whole lot of people. Glad you didn't succumb to the madness!

I didn't succumb really but I will admit to being quite concerned about Covid in late January of 2020, to the point that me and my husband voluntarily quarantened at home for a few weeks. My reasoning was simple: Phuket Thailand had seen 57,000 tourists specifically come from Wuhan prior to their border closures. I didn't think China would employ such economy and soul wrecking measures unless they were really sure it was the real thing. I could extrapolate out that we would get hit hard and quickly if there was a deadly contagion. Then, nothing happened. So by Valentine's Day or so we started venturing out where we discovered that, besides the terrified and facemask wearing Chinese, everything looked totally normal. At that point I readjusted my thinking, figured at a bare minimum this virus was burning out in the hot dry season Phuket sun and carried on as I always had. When the lockdowns came in March I knew it was closing the barn door after the horse had already bolted and smelled a rat. Then it just became more about protecting my girls from the psychological damage of the measures...fear not!

Sounds like you "dangerously" did your own research! LOL!

I always point people to April 8, 2020. That's the day Governor Jay Inslee ordered our temporary hospital dismantled because our healthcare system wasn't in danger.

We were in lockdowns for like 16 more months.

Lovely! We must always remember to celebrate the LOVE in our lives, no matter what's happening around us. Otherwise, what are we fighting to protect?

Those were great pictures. Almost made me wonder if the madness really happened.
