2023: The Year in Review

So What Happened With the Thai Princess? Or Damar Hamlin, For That Matter? Was There Any Followup on the Maui Fires?

If I had to peg a theme for the year 2023, it would seem to be the year of collective amnesia. High profile people collapsed and died on stage performing, on the football field, in airplane cockpits and while giving high profile speeches. It seemed like the numbers were overwhelming and you could barely keep track of the ones who died before. The numbers of these strange collapses and deaths seemed like a shock and awe campaign for the brain. We saw it with our own eyes. None of them had overdosed or commited suicide. Sometimes there was an immediate explanation, even if it was far fetched. Nobody was the least bit curious what had really happened.

I’m sure it was the drinking, drugs or suicide…

Keeping things in a constant state of chaos from wars, massacres, inflation, and resource depletion seems to be the name of the game. If there is an occassional tidbit of hope it is often snuffed through silence and the next horrific news cycle. The hearings and political debates of politicians are demoralizing displays of unwatchable grandstanding. The suck just won’t go away, like a ticking clock with every continued senseless death. More pressing survival needs become paramount. The bad guys seem to have won. The framework is in place to do it all over again and nobody has or will be held accountable for any of what happened before. Too many people are complicit in it.

So I’m going to cover a few updates on some of the stories I covered during 2023. My search for updates often made me aware of the sickening lack of followup on anything. For example I sometimes get asked on this substack whatever happened with the Thai Princess who collapsed? This was one of my more popular stories:

Unfortunately it has proven to be far too optimistic. Nobody has pulled the jabs anywhere in any official way beyond the level of mistakes were made thinking. To recap Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha, the eldest child of King Vajiralongkorn, collapsed while walking her dogs on the royal grounds on December 14, 2022. The 44 year old never regained consciousness and many speculated that she was brain dead and placed on an ECMO machine. The Royal Palace dispatched some tersely written words regarding the princess’s condition in January and March. She was still in a coma and continued prayers were needed. Speculation was rife that she had collapsed just three weeks after a Pfizer Covid booster. A few fact checkers waded in to explain that while they weren’t sure what had caused the Thai Princess to collapse they were absolutely positive it had nothing to do with any experimental jabs. The murderers, having covered their bases as best they could, then sat back and waited for collective amnesia to set in.

It did. Although the Thai Princess was regarded as a very likely heir to the throne despite Thailand’s patrilineal traditions, there were simply no updates on her condition for the entire rest of 2023. Each time I checked Phuket Immigration or any other official Thailand website there was a message to say prayers for the Thai princess with her picture. When I came to America a few weeks ago I noticed that this prayer message was not there on some Thai government websites I had checked into. Have they finally decided to take down the prayers for the Princess message because perhaps at this point it is bound to cause curiousity and it is better if Ong Bha is simply forgotten? Or did they never show this message at all in America?

On a perhaps related note of Royal intrigue, one of the King’s four exiled sons came to Thailand for the first time in 27 years in August. The royal family made no comment on this. Being that the eldest boy has disqualified himself from being King by marrying an American woman in what has to sound like a great pitch for a Hallmark Valentine’s Day movie, the second eldest boy theoretically would be next in line of succession. In short the Thai Princess is not coming back. They just aren’t sure what to do with her body.

I didn’t cover Damar Hamlin’s dramatic on field collapse as much as some other substackers did: I think Sage Hana wrote around 35 posts regarding it! But I hadn’t heard a peep of an update regarding it so I was happy for Jeff Childers run down:

“In July, NFL officials cleared Damar Hamlin to return to football, which proved beyond any possible argument that he was not vaccine injured. So there. And once we saw him playing we would realize that conspiracy theories about body doubles and CGI were just silly nonsense. And then Damar voluntarily decided not to play in order to be a community resource, which doesn’t prove anything, because he could have played football if he wanted to, he just didn’t want to. In August, sports media reported Damar will receive his full $3.64 million dollar NFL salary even though he isn’t playing and even though doesn’t even want to play.

But that doesn’t prove anything and is not suspicious at all. It’s none of your business.  Damar was cleared to play, so that ends the discussion. That’s science!”

It appears that Damar Hamlin has been shuffled off stage left. Is there even a point where the collective consciousness can wake up? Have we become so traumatized by it all that we are incapable of seeing it anymore? Have we been beaten into a learned helplessness response? Are the drugs and booze really making the awful that much better? It’s like this terrible that oozes out everywhere.

Every story that I covered was buried and normalized by the mainstream. The implications of the Maui fires and the potential of Directed Energy Weapons were never fully fleshed out. There’s too many unfinished projects and too much going on to track it all. What happened in East Palestine? What did any number of atheletes, celebrities and the like really die of? How can we stop it if they haven’t held anyone accountable? How can there be justice if the bodies are just a foul stench under the carpet?

Perhaps that’s a better name for 2023. I’ll be thankful when it’s gone…
