Wow. Very compelling reading. Had a friend who in her 60's found out that her real mother was her dad's secretary, who had twins and the secretary took the boy and her dad and his wife raised her. She was told she was adopted but not that she had a twin brother or who her mother was. Life can be so unexpected. Thank you for sharing your story as you have.,

Father’s Day weekend 2018 I was contacted by a woman who turned out to be my sister. She found me after connecting with a distant cousin on 23 and Me. Tracked me down via my father’s obituary and then Facebook and LinkedIn. DNA confirmed. Dad was a pilot, her mom a flight attendant, both working the same trip to Tokyo but based out of different cities in the US. Humans being humans decades later I got a new-to-me baby sister!

No one was terribly surprised as Dad had quite the reputation. We are more surprised we don’t have 4 or 5 other siblings showing up in the databases.

Oh and I am pretty sure he thought his vasectomy had been effective. Apparently not!

Thanks for sharing your story!
