It’s been a busy week, so I haven’t dug further, but my initial observations were that he knew his plants (I know plants a bit, so I could tell he wasn’t full of shit), he had a broad swath of damning image evidence, and I had fun a few times with microwaves and metal when I was younger.
The logical inference is that these would be space based, but I know very little about DEWs. I always put them in the Bigfoot and lizard people category. Now I am looking for white rabbits to follow down this particular rabbit hole. Does anyone out there have good resources to study up on the topic?
If these are space based, and they are being used to flush people out of self sufficiency, or community sufficiency, towards 15 minute cities…this level of power is hard to grapple with. It kind of means the fight is over before it starts. Which is not a feeling I enjoy pondering :(

“Spiking” trees is a standard ecoterrorism tactic — the sort of activity that gave us antifa. The idea is if a chainsaw chain hits the spike, it’ll break, can whip around and severely injure if not kill the chainsaw operator. Can believe the nails can act as a conducting path that lightning may follow, but it in itself wouldn’t make it any more or less likely for the lightning to hit the tree. Old growth trees tend to be the candidates for spiking, but also would be more likely to be hit by being bigger trees. Maybe they heat up and lead to a fire?
