Yep, those Northern lights showing up so far South sure are a treat to the eye. But implications of this strange phenomenon are somewhat concerning, to say the least, in terms of the causes and consequential effects.
Here's a slightly edited, updated version of a posting of mine, published just a few days ago on a social media platform, which may spread a little enlightenment - and, I suspect, not a little bewildermant at the failure of the mass media to even acknowledge a potential existential threat to our futures arguably more prescient than the side-effects of climate change.
"You may not have noticed, but the Earth's magnetic poles are in the process of changing places, something that happens as frequently as every 12,000 years. As they do so, the protective magnetic shield which saves us from the worst effects of the sun's harmful radiation degrades and weakens.
"The worrying process has been in progress for many decades, but is currently accelerating to the point where over the next ten or 15 years we could find ourselves exposed to an unprecedented bombardment of unhealthy solar rays and particles.
"When (not if,) this eventually happens, we will face a veritable cascade of catastrophe. Cancer rates are likely to soar, numerous species which rely on fixed poles for navigation could be decimated, and climate change crises of the kind that would give Al Gore nightmares would become commonplace, displacing entire populations.
"One of the sun-watchers' biggest fears is of a solar storm knocking out the global electricity grid on which every aspect of our hi-tech society depends. Life as we know it would be over - not least for Northern Hemisphere populations literally left out in the cold with no means to heat their homes.
"The worst-case scenario is for one of those coyly-classified extinction events, of which there have historically been many already, with only a relative handful of humans left to repopulate the stricken planet. Don't take my word for it. Experts have been predicting this pole-axing event for years, in articles published in prestigious scientific journals most of us have probably never even heard of.
Yet for some strange reason, those who surely must be in the know - governments and a mass media which thrives on fear porn - are staying schtum and not even bothering to tell us what we must do to "save the planet". Could this possibly be because, unlike th climate crisis we are all supposed to be so worried about, this is just another elaborate hoax. Or because they know it isn't - and that we are screwed. "
I have been contemplating the solar minimum/ magnetic pole shift for a few years. On the one hand the fear porn industry thrives off of crisis but this one has no regulatory or money making solutions for it. Living in a temperate climate less dependent on the grid and becoming more self sustaining is an insurance policy, but nobody can profit off of that. Ultimately as electromagnetic beings we could all be wiped out in the blink of an eye. This is an up to God type of event.
That said this catastrophe could have positive aspects to it including a rapid shift to higher consciousness. This may have been foretold by the Bible and in other doctrines. The evil powers that rule the world in this case would know that the gig is up for them. Not only would they not want to share this information, but they would do everything they could to stall this shift, probably through trauma based mind control.
The whole thing could be some type of hoax, but on meditating about this issue I've come to the exact opposite conclusion. This is the big one...
I stayed up all night watching the aurora from just outside Toledo.... That was around this time of year but the year was 2000. Looked just liked that.
What's strange about that is I am from Toledo and still lived there in 2000. I often went to California/Las Vegas during the summertime but I have no memory of ever seeing one...
Amy - this is about the 5th video through YouTube that I cannot view. It just refuses to play. Is is possible to start linking somewhere else to watch that video? Or post sensitive ones?
Thanks for letting me know. It posts and appears on my end. Substack makes it difficult to directly post videos unless they are the shortest like GIF clips. Either that or I need some technical assistance on how to do it. Most other sites (twitter/X) force you to their site to view things too. Perhaps I'll post something benign on my other channel like a song and see if that goes through. This did have a warning that the clip shows graphic content (i.e. a plane spinning and then crashing)...
Amy - I just now discovered that everything related to your substack "LIKED BYs" are going into my spam folder. What gives? This has been going on since July! I just noticed it tonight looking through SPAM for something else. Grrrrr. I really enjoy seeing the "like" notifications and the "reply" notices from your substack - and thought you should know in case this is happening to any of your other subscribers. It wasn't just with your substack account either. Just thought you should know. People tend to drop off on their interest when the think people are not interacting with comments. Must be "their" way of forcing traffic off certain substack accounts.
Jacquelyn Saurol has mentioned that substack unlikes posts and I am sure that they play around with things. I sometimes have more likes on my Gmail (a lot more) than when I click on substack to see my posts. Is it all tech issues? Perhaps...
I can attest to the rising car insurance rates in the Midwest as well. I live in Michigan, which reportedly has the highest rates nationally. We insure 5 cars, only one of which is relatively new (2022 F150). Nothing fancy/expensive (the truck is the most $$). Two of the drivers are 22 and 24. One at-fault single-car accident with our youngest almost three years ago. Michigan is a no-fault state though, so your insurance pays all accidents regardless of fault. This year, I will pay $11,000 for auto insurance with a $1000 deductible IF rates do not continue to rise. Thankful that we only have a car payment on the truck. The other vehicles are old enough to be paid for. I’m not sure how ‘average’ earners in society can keep this up. Add homeowners at another $1700/year plus property taxes at $8000/year (2500 sq foot house that is NOT lakefront), and we are quickly being priced out of living in Michigan!
It's insane. I can't imagine close to $1K per month on insurance, though it sounds right for 5 cars in a big family of drivers. In Las Vegas we have 1 car and no young drivers, no accidents, no tickets, et cetera, and we're close to $100 per month anyways. Something will give on this
Loss of airflow under the wings of an airplane will cause it to spiral exactly as seen in the videos and icing, indeed, will cause loss of airflow. The ATR and other T- tail aircraft have a record of problems with icing. I don’t think there was any conspiracy here, just simple law of aerodynamics. I think this plane was just too low to the ground to try to get enough air movement under the wings, to gain lift and recover from that spin. It was a sad and horrific lesson on aerodynamics to see
Michael PS I would not worry about the pole axing event the good news is there are no poles! The earth is flat. But that’s just my conclusion. 1. Einstein could not find the source of a rotating earth. 2. If you think we live on a globe spinning at 1,000 mph, revolving round the Sun at 66,000 mph
While the Sun hurls through space he my guest and notice how still the Pole star sits.
Perhaps the skies sending a message God is watching. Jesus said keep your eyes to the skies.
The Vatican takes him serious with their telescopes.
The Bible says the the earth is solid upon the foundations non rotating.
But I’m not here to convince you!! BC I know what I believe the only real conspiracy you can prove
By trying to find the curve of the earth.
Amy I like the GOVUK Yourself the Uk has gone full
Nazi. They don’t make gold metals like they used to.
I need convincing that flat Earth isn't a distractionary psyop to keep us specifically from watching the skies. I still want someone to explain the phases of the moon to me through this.
I'm all in on the idea that our current models are inadequate and in many cases are based on false assumptions. But I need something to take their place which fits the puzzle pieces better.

"and we ain't in it!"
Great memes, Amy!
That was exactly my finishing thought when I posted this. It's arguably George Carlin's best known line...
I love your painting!
It's still a work in progress but thank you!
I love that gov chart - what a mess. Just cut the cord on that big yellow box.
But then what jobs would these people have?
Hopefully a job that would *make* money, rather than *cost* money.

From there we went to a Lakeshore town where my host told me that Aurora that far south was not vid able

Hey - I think it's me. I can't get YouTube to play ANYTHING for me now. I think they are trying to force me to register. I won't.
Amy, if you know of any other place or link where I can see that plane, please send. Thank you.

FYI.
I believe this has a video of the plane circling in freefall:https://edition.cnn.com/2024/08/09/americas/brazil-plane-crash-intl-latam/index.html

I hope you’re right! Looking to relocate to a less expensive state within two years when I retire! If I still can by that time! 🤪🤣
My sights are oddly set on Michigan
Head up north of Saginaw. Truly beautiful state from there north. Northern lights are often seen up in the UP. 😊
I’ve been there quite a few times but it has been a long time. Ahh I remember Pictured Rocks…

Thanks for the input. I still wonder about the pilots. It doesn't seem anybody was controlling the plane. A chilling lesson indeed...
HAARP is possibly the cause of the lights so far south. Testing dates often coincide.
That Calvin was perfect.
Thanks for sharing such an interesting story, Love this 🥰🥰🥰
