“The increasing use of scientific jargon has permitted the State’s intellectuals to weave obscurantist apologia for State rule that would have only met with derision by the populace of a simpler age.”-Anatomy of the State, Murray N. Rothbrand, 1974

Playing “the State’s” game is exhausting for an individual. 😉 Thank you Amy for your great memes!

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, your ability to turn over every stone has exposed just how corrupt the medical system is.

Hi Amy, it's 6 of one and a half dozen of the other. I know nothing of the border, other than you can get anything across if you pay for it. A lot quicker than the legal immigration system, even if you just want a temporary visa. And of course, after the tests, money, you may still be denied. But it is legal, the denial that is. I would still go legal, it is the only legitimate way, if it happens at all.

I wish I could be more help, maybe someone out there can assist you, maybe.

Love your memes.

As I was reading I kept thinking "what about the concrete dust?!" So glad you found the info. My Grandfather & his many brothers worked basic construction (like your husband) many decades ago. Concrete dust was known as an irritant even then.

That said, I am horrified how many obstacles you face/faced! Your ability to plug along-- and your courage-- is amazing.

You're a smart cookie, Amy. The attempts to break you and your husband down are epic and nonsensical. You are dangerous...you possess a moral compass in an increasing immoral world.

Silicosis is well-known and well-studied in Australia. Let me know if you need any resources I can see what I can do.

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but Mycobacteria (TB is also known as Mycobacterium Tuberculosis) are very slow growing organisms. Cultures can therefore take 6-8 weeks to call them negative if there is no growth nor anything seen on their initial smear to look for acid fast bacilli

I had the BCG when a teenager in New Zealand. 25 years later diagnosed with TB of lungs. While conversing with NZ registered tropical healthcare nurses "specialist carers" TB is now showing up everywhere due to populations on the move internationally now more than ever. Most people have the so called "TB bug" but it lays dormant in us until we become run down then it overwhelms our body's defenses. Was also advised at that point the BCG was not "fool proof" I did take my prescribed meds and have never been healthier thank God! I say this all to make a point that it is useless having this "disease" as a condition of entry to another nation. Ditto for the so called "COVID" etc. Pray you get favor somehow.

My younger daughter was given the BCG vaccine when she was maybe 1-2 days old. I would have never consented to it directly but my husband Oh was pretty pro vaccine at the time, didn't understand my antivax stance, and agreed to it. My baby girl seemed okay after it so I suppose I wrote it off as one of the "better" vaccines, being that it was a one and done for a condition which was supposedly killing so many people still globally. This has opened up a huge rabbit hole about that. My pushback included why the sputum testing was being done at all, being that I recalled from both of my pregnancies that a TB skin prick had been employed instead. Their reasoning is that the BCG vaccine causes the skin prick to turn positive for tuberculosis! This is a huge red flag for me. It's looking more like an opportunistic infection which is already endemic and takes advantage of a weakened immune system. The rest is just incentive fueled window dressing

As someone who had BCG vaccine, I don’t do PPD as I’ll always test positive for it. Chest X-ray or nowadays it’s blood test - gold quantiferon test as standard with very little possibility of false positives.

The 8 week lag time to get the results is because it takes time for cultures to grow. If you venture to visajourney.com forms in Philippines area mostly you’ll see people’s experiences with St.Luke’s medical exam and sputum tests, antibiotics use and similar.

Thanks for the information! Now my husband has NOT been vaccinated for BCG to my knowledge. A skin prick might well test negative and I have been considering my options with all of this. Antibiotics seem to clear up a lot and I'd say that not working at a construction site might be good too! I'm going to duke it out with the hospital as I feel like I've inadvertantly uncovered a big scam. I'll check out your link...
