As I normally say, when we get up at the left coast, a whole bunch of crap has already been dumped all over this ole' world of ours. I now remember you mentioning the overjabbed room mate recently. That may be the source of the time warp! It has not been the first time cuz' I'm aware of your Thai/American intercontinental presence (from your written accounts). I have friends and family that had lived in Thailand at some point in time (a commercial pilot and his family; my brother-in-law who was an English teacher in 2004 and lived through the tsunami. We have a few items that he made a point to purchase from the regions affected, to support local business in Phuket. One item that was particularly used a lot was a set of chopsticks; sadly many have snapped or got lost...)
