They were in the process of adding /upgrading the fireproofing to the buildings before the attack. This would have been a perfect cover story to rig the building with explosives. Nothing would have had to be done in secret, it could just be done in plain site. The crew would just come in to work day after day, placing explosives while appearing to be working on the fire proofing.
Not saying that’s what happened but it’s a possible way to rig a building with explosives while pretending to be doing some other work. Fireproofing is a good cover but any other major “upgrade” to building services/structure would also work.
I have not spoken to a demolition expert but I can say that it would have taken years to rig that building/those buildings. It’s impossible to have done without getting noticed. In an operation so vast and spanning so much time someone would have noticed something. I suspect every floor would have needed to have explosives planted on every main support. The wiring would need to be programmed to fire off in a sequence conducive to collapsing a 110 story building (in this case 2 and several others).
You’re giving them too much credit and it’s far to complicated to pull off. Like with many mass shooters I suspect the hijacker’s had some inside help. At the very least some insiders knew it was coming and elected to let it ride in secrecy aiding and abetting the enemy. Imagine the force a giant aircraft transfers coming to a full stop in flight. Fireproofing work would require you to access every structural element but you’d only have to take out some key structural elements to cause a collapse. Something took out enough of the structure to collapse it, either a plane or something else. The sunset colors in the clouds produced every color of the rainbow possible and the lake produced a perfect reflection of all of it. It was the type of glorious awe inspiring scene that would surely win photograph of the year.
In the dream God spoke to me then. "So you want to know what Satan is? He is the reflection in the water. Everthing is upside down yet it appears as beautiful. But I am the one who gave him the light."

I have a FEMA chart from early on and Eric West as mentioned wanted to document the damage for homeowners on their insurance claims but has recently been complaining that they've locked down the area. Some are saying that many have left the island. To a degree I don't blame them. Particularly for the struggling native Hawaiins whose most sacred land has now turned into the site of a massacre they may no longer feel the same way about living there
