I've been trying to make a change to my credit card account for months. The company says it needs send an access code to my cellphone. I give it the number and it says it doesn't recognize my cellphone and I should press here for a two step process instead. I press there and after many more press theres I get a person that tells me he'll send an access code to my cellphone. I tell him it doesn't recognize my cellphone . He tells me sorry, that's the only way.

I belong to 2 credit unions. I do not use any debit card for one, as it is close by. For the other I do use a visa card because it is 20+ miles away. But if I was being true to myself I would also get rid of that piece of plastic as well. At this point I don't even want that plastic card carried on my person, and it is not terribly difficult to simply mail checks for deposit. Why should visa get money every time its spent?

Met a very cool guy. He’s very religious from a Christian perspective. He’s not even close to typical tho. He has introduced me to some high level people and biz owners since I met him.

Then last week we had the talk. The “real talk.” Turns out he knows everything we do. I have yet to stumble upon anyone who even knows BRICS exists. He’s very good with numbers (Bonds, Fed Reserve, etc). Says it will run out of steam shortly after 2025 and the elites will have to crash and reset it.

Common sense tells me he’s accurate. Spiritual sense gives me chills thinking this dude may be a prophet. It is going to have to happen (similar to 2008) but it won’t be so easy this time around. In 08 the US/West were light years ahead of the rest of the world. Had Russia fallen along with multipolar alternative system, it would have been an identical scenario. So only God knows how this will shake out in early/mid 2025.

I believe AI was to be the driver of the new economy. Just like tech has been since the mid 90’s. I do NOT understand if that is a reasonable assumption or pie in the sky. Our dear leaders are conspicuously out of of touch these days. Perhaps more so than ever in the history of civilization.

PS mass civil unrest to kick off shortly thereafter late 2025-early 2026 according to my new pal. 😉….. I believe him!

He was born in India and adopted and raised here in the US since a young boy. I, myself am Agnostic and Atheist before that. Seeing that I had fallen for a religion unto itself (Atheism) along with strange encounters during my life decided best not rule anything out.

Personally, I would love to see the different religious sects including Islam drop their egos and come together against a common foe. An enemy that even a non secular person like myself can see is straight from hell.

My new pal is very curious. I suspect he and I will be chatting plenty more. I already see him every week and we attend the same local meetings. Lol the company I work for tried to hire him. Hell I didn’t even know. I had told one of the higher ups about him and that he wasn’t doing so great at the moment. Without me naming now many in this industry actually are at the moment. He said he couldn’t but it may be possible to get him on part time.

So by can see how much I like this cat. You can imagine my surprise when we had what I call “the talk” last week. Could have knocked me over with a feather. HOWEVER to give myself some credit there was something about him I sensed. Not sure if it was spiritual or just me picking up on subtle clues.

It’s been quite enlightening thus far! 👍

I've been contemplating writing a religious post with thoughts on my Catholic upbringing though from a more pan religious point of view. To wit: can you call yourself Christian if you disregard or don't believe the supernatural origins story of Jesus? I.e. that he was the son of God, born from a virgin, was crucified and rose from the dead?

I ask this because every spiritual and religious perspective I have encountered has some variations on supernatural origin stories: those who were conceived from God or angels, and those who overcame cycles of death and rebirth by ascending onto a higher astral plane and the like. It seems the current system was meant to trap us in a materialist viewpoint which keeps the broader spiritual war we all face from being seen and acknowledged. It also keeps us from direct contact with God and the divine...

always so impressed your depth and wisdom on all topics. Thanks for this great perspective - you inspire and it is very empowering to see by your example how profound, how deep insight can be available just from observing with clarity of mind - you do not need special access or occulted knowledge or to belong to a secret society or to be rich etc you need only to be grounded -and honest - within your own thoughts - and by being willing to "know thyself" you can gain the eyes to see through the blixzard of lies.

Please take my vote from 'About the same as before', and add it to 'Less Convenient'. I hit the wrong button when trying to maneuver through the page. Ugh.

I paid my (spectrum) wifi bill today. Every month, the automated system wants to know if I want to sign up for paperless billing. Every month I say 'NO'. It also wants to know if I want my payment method stored for my 'convenience'. Again, every month I say 'NO'. It never fails, their machine does not comprehend the word NO. Each and every month, I either get enrolled in paperless billing, and/or my payment method gets stored. Each and every month I need to be transferred to a human representative to stop the paperless billing, and/or remove my payment method from their storage!

It's all both sad and infuriating- each and every freaking month! It's also maddening that their machine doesn't know the word NO. OR, worse, their machine is program to intentionally ignore the customer saying NO.

UGH!!! I can't stand modern technology!

Sending yall truck loads of love, big but gentle hugs, and monolithic tons of PERSEVERANCE!!!

I had a similar problem with my mother: she is not technically savvy and does not have or use either a computer or smartphone. Some time ago I signed her up for online banking to help her with something online. This automatically enrolled her in paperless billing, something that she never ever ever would sign up for or consider. She complained to me that she was not getting her monthly statements in the mail which she needed to balance her checkbook. So I went online and noticed a recurring charge of $179 being taken out of her account every month which she had no idea about. She would not have learned about it until some check bounced either all because they'd automatically enrolled her in paperless billing for its "convenience."

I wonder how the electricity usage of that online banking actually stacks up environmentally to the account statement from the mail...

At this point I'd probably consider buying stock only in private security companies.

But then, if S does indeed HTF, they might be tempted to, er, «withhold» the dividends.
