"The whole thing has a feel of unreality about it. I can’t put my finger on why." I feel this way about pretty much everything. I think, maybe, it's because our 'reality' has been manufactured, and we're seeing through it. It's not really real, although it has real consequences. Thanks, Amy.

Thanks to the past three years I consider LIFE to be one big psych-op.

I’m so grateful for you and your stack. When I read the news this morning it made me wonder what is really going on.

In these circumstances it’s always so sad for the regular people being used as pawns.

"Is it a way for Netanyahu to keep his grip on power?"

how many times has bibi been indicted for corruption? isn't there still an ongoing case against him?

5 Broken Cameras movie was very informative. I would guess this is a sponsored attack, given the timing and the resources of the Palestinians.

Sponsored but by whom? The bankers usually fund both sides of a war

Good Morning Amy. I thinks Greg's position is spot on, and as a regular reader/viewer of his newsletter and podcast, I am confident that it is the closest to the real situation, as far as I'm able to grasp it. And, on that note, Good Night, Amy! (Y'know. it's dark and **NOT** cold in the Pacific Northwest!

I don't know what's happening but I saw a video of 2 (of 3) buildings, supposedly bombed, but they came down, almost free fall speed, in their own footprints? Where have we seen this before? 🤷‍♀️

I saw that one too. There's an even odder one I saw on Gab of an Israeli guy whose car was supposedly hit by a rocket. There's doorbell footage of him stopping in the middle of the road, getting out of his car, hiding behind some trash cans and waiting like one minute AND THEN a rocket hits his car. Nothing about it looked right obviously if there's rockets overhead I'm going to be driving fast away from the area maybe to an underground parking garage or something

Seems like the they had help from intelligence agencies, the planning and logistics is hard to believe that Hamas pulled this off while being imprisoned in Gaza.

I agree completely. The troops were stationed elsewhere at the West Bank and the sensors on those fences were supposedly so good that a cat walking along the fenceline could set off a full scale alert. What happened there?

I think this needs to be analysed in as large a context as possible.

Israel is at the heart of globalism, all the globalists are Zionists.

What happens in Israel is fundamental and affects all of us.

This attack was launched 50 years to the day after the Yom Kippur War, during which the total control of Israel over the US was demonstrated for the first time (that is when the Zionist State first threatened to use the infamous "Samson option", which is basically "either you help us or we nuke the world" – this was only possible because LBJ greenlit Israel's nuclear program which JFK was about to terminate when he was taken out). Nixon obeyed immediately and helped crush the Arab forces (Israel was doomed otherwise).

As you very rightly say, Israel's military intelligence is extremely powerful and effective, and under Obama for example, such an attack was simply impossible. What has made it possible now?

One has to go back to Trump's "Plan for the Middle-East", which was a trap in which Netanyahu fell hook, line and sinker (offering him Jerusalem on a silver platter blinded and fooled the fanatic messianic zealot in him) and since then, antizionism has exploded in the Middle-East, all the strategic alliances and mechanisms of subversion which had previously been in place with Saudi Aravbia, Qatar, Jordan and Oman have been blown to smithereens.

Iran’s foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian recently stated in an interview that "the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance [to Israel] are in their best condition ever” and that “positive developments in the region will lead to the collapse of the Zionist entity”.

I think he is right. And that is simply wonderful news.

I pray that the killing stops, least of all over something that started over disputed territory, the borders of which were often arbitrarily decided specifically to foment tension. I also do worry a bit regarding the spiralling of this from a purely Biblical standpoint. It doesn't matter if you believe in end times prophecy or not as the tail could be wagging the dog and taking everyone down with it. Why can't people live in peace?

The problem is that the Likud and Netanuahu are Messianists and believe that end times must precede their final advent. In more colloquial terms, they are nuts. But they have been in charge for 30 years.

I also pray that the killing (which has been going on since 1948) stops…

Amy, from Jim Kunstler's Clusterfuck Nation:I

n the background of all that — a true-life horror — lies the crumbling bond market, the foundation of the money-and-banking system that is supposed to support the on-the-ground economy that produces things of value like food and roofing shingles. The bond market is wobbling badly. As rates rise, banks’ collateral melts away and they go bust, liquidation moves to stock markets, derivatives implode, and the vast reservoirs of capital vanish. There’s your stealth true Halloween psychodrama sneaking up on the scene. Gradually, then all at once, the quarreling nation finds itself stone broke, and even the blob shrinks from the scene in horror.

The financial system is on edge. I read somewhere that banks are losing money right now even if everybody pays their mortgage because the differential between the rates when the mortgage originated and what it is now is too great. That just means more funny money created out of thin air bailouts, methinks. But for many people the unreality of some twitter reels of some horror in a distant land could meet the very real and pressing reality of there not being ny food on store shelves or water coming from the tap. Priorities would changes real quick. The war in Ukraine has led to massive shortages throughout the region. Watching your child starve is a big motivator unfortunately all too easy to steer in the wrong direction
