Trump deserves blame, but the people blaming him deserve far more blame. I do not think Trump would have pushed the vaccine mandates. Not because he is a good guy, but because his base would have had a huge fit about it and I think he would have backed down. Biden's base loved the mandates and half of them indicated in polls last winter that persons criticizing the Covid vaccines in public should be jailed. Talk about goose steppers.
The Dems always struck me as a bit more spineless and very much willing to support "the thing" even if that makes them political whores. So I don't think it will be as hard for them to suddenly be victims of this crazy thing that they wanted. Baby steps to lead them there...
I don't give Trump a pass because he was against mandates. Many, many people took the shots without it being mandated, thinking they were safe (because of Trump's administration). Of those who were forced to take them or lose their jobs, Trump's acquiescence to producing the shots without adequate safety and efficacy testing directly led to those mandates.
I agree. He is culpable, but I think ordering the mandates like Biden did for the military and civilian federal workforce was even worse. However, Trump's poor record is nothing to overlook. Remember that he made a pharma executive his HHS secretary.
Problem with Trump and the Vax is most interesting cuz shows how too much of his base are giving him a pass. Not just for the Vax. More for having all the wrong people around him. And for not building the wall. And letting Hillary off. And for burying secrets he said he'd reveal. Mostly he to blame cuz too full of that in no way cute ego of his to have the observant open minded character needed to be a great president. I'm sure there were people doing all they could to warn him about the election being stolen. He should have been all over that. Should have got together the good guys and gone after the deep state for all he was worth. That was his dragon to slay and he yap yap yapped about his record this and best ever that and let the country (probably) die on his watch. He was way better than Hillary, like that is a feather in anybody's cap, but mostly failed at everything. And not like he just casually didn't know about the dangers of the Vax. He could have learned plenty enough to be on the right side from the get go. He was too interested in Jew Money. Easy to see.
He surrounded himself with the wrong people ... got baited into this man made pandemic ... I think he now sees the light but he does deserve some blame
Short answer - I think trying to blame Trump will work about as well as the Mar-a-Lago FBI raid - in other words, it will likely backfire.
Yes, the vaccines were developed on Trump's watch, and yes he tried to push them through without safeguards. There is blame there.
Trump never, ever pushed for mandating, and threatening, and coercing, and canceling, and fining and firing people who didn't want the shots. As other bloggers like gato malo have pointed out, the Dems worked like mad to take credit for, and control of, the vaccines. I don't think people will forget that - too many people have kept the receipts and can prove it.
Overall, the fact that they are trying to blame Trump is a very, very good sign; it means the vaccine narrative is collapsing and they know it. I wonder if we'll have enough ropes and lamp posts to keep up with the demand. This next year or so is likely going to get very chaotic and very ugly.
Victoria, Nah. Trump not unaware of what is going on. He is pretending to think the vax is good for you. He pleasing the New York Jewish money. He was always politically mixed up. I read a little booklet about Reagan's first 100 days plan of action. He came into office with a plan and people and he executed it. Trump could have done the same. He knew great people that could have accomplished so much.
They were always going to blame Trump. They were against the vaccine when they thought Trump would get credit for it. They were for the vaccine after Biden had his successful coup. Pretty simple, really. Now, Fauci says he never favored lockdowns. This is all just theater for idiots. I am not amused.
Like it or not, like Trump or not, he owns this debacle. He can either accept responsibility for the bad outcomes, as true leaders do; i.e., accept responsibility for everything that people working for him does, or he can claim that he was misled, in which case he admits that he did not have control over the people who worked for him, and didn't know even what they were doing. This is the ultimate no-win situation. Regardless, Trump owns the worst of warp speed, whether he admits it, or not.
Everyone I know that got The Death Jab is totally unaware that anything is amiss. And I am talking about 97% of family, neighbors, friends, colleagues, including about a dozen children. All move forward daily without any hesitation that The Death Jab was the only way to go. So I am not seeing that people are SEEING the connection between sudden deaths (was an obit in the local paper yesterday about a 27 year old male who "died suddenly and unexpectedly") and the Jabs. All of the above mentioned Jab recipients are doing just fine. And of course they will blame Trump for the jabs. Isn't he also responsible for the Lindbergh baby kidnapping?
bus approaches the stop, klaus behind the wheel. midget and orange man are being dragged up to the curb. never mind the fleet of black suburbans going around the bus
My theory is that they have ALWAYS had the data, like with the CDC throttling VAERS reports and their v-Safe tracking app, to know that these things were bad. But obviously that would make them criminally negligent if they intentionally covered up those things. So now they sense that they need an exit strategy because too much is coming to light...
Trump just got the process of coming up with a vaccine with the CDC. He had nothing to with anything afterwards...it was the Biden band of evil that put all the burdens on us, lied, killed and maimed. Trump was out of office, remember? He even took an alternate cure, and so many didn't think he should have tried it. He was right and got well quickly. Biden locked us down, made life miserable for everyone, hurt children and keeps on doing it. Biden regime allowed goi g against the Nuremberg Code of not having people be experimented on...people were basically blackmailed to take the poison and become lab subjects. So many lost their jobs and still do because they refuse to take experimental potions. Doctors and hospitals totally lost the concept of do no harm...horrible! Trump had nothing to do with all of this...Biden did! Typical blaming of others, instead of owning up to it. Biden continues to do it, as do the rest of the Democrats. The entire country went down the tubes on Biden's first fake day of office. If you couldn't see his dementia during elections, you weren't paying attention! Patients running the asylum!

The more the fed is fighting itself the less time they have to ruin my life. May this battle be long and bloody, I say.
LOL I concur!

Charlie, you might have just created a just-in-time niche market. Lamp posts that comes with ropes. And as a side, you could offer pitch forks too.
Lets see, "Lamp Posts Are Us" complete with ropes.
If his aides were reading Substack and Gab and Telegram, Trump would have pivoted already.

"For them to break through that third rail, these things must be a disaster."
That's the big question. What do they know and what's about to happen. This pivot is for a reason more than just mid-terms, isn't it?
