Thanks! Photography (and art) is my therapy for a lot of darkness in the world. It's chaos here with all the puppies but soon it will be quiet. I took all these this morning at a time when sunlight filters through in interesting ways and the animals are active. There were a lot of blurry photos but I'm thrilled with the results!
They are all good, but my favorite is the black puppy with his fat little belly surrounded by all the other sleeping puppies in what looks like a milk coma.... <3
That's Shadow the only black puppy (and female like her mom). She seems quite smart about finding the milk and getting out of the rain. I've volunteered at a few pet rescues statistically these (black female, cat or dog) are the hardest to adopt but we have a friend who said he'll take her only. Perhaps times are changing
LOL you saw the chicken! Nobody notices the chicken! Clover the Wonderchick actually makes her rounds multiple times a day. Most attempted photos of what she's doing (pecking fleas off the puppies) have been blurry. But she's amazing. In the right mood you turn the little pup on its stomach and 5 or 10 fleas are gone in less than 30 seconds. I really should do a short video
I love this post so much!!!

I always liked black animals. :) The one with the black patch over its face is adorable as well. <3
