Clover the chicken hopped up to cuddle with my daughter today when she was feeling bad and came out to lay on the wicker seat. I hope it’s not bird flu
As many of you know I, and thankfully my whole family, are unjabbed. As evidence of the negative efficacy of the Covid “vaccines” has emerged I’ve quietly reminded some people of my robust health during this whole pandemic thing. The last time I was sick with any type of respiratory illness was around Thanksgiving of 2019. A pretty nasty cold or flu bug swept through the house in Las Vegas. About once every 10 years I seem to get a pretty bad flu and I was about due for it. My daughters both missed a week of school, my younger girl got some chest x-rays, and my mother slept a lot. I really didn’t clear the fever, cough and runny nose for about two weeks.
Being shortly before the whole Covid-19 thing came on the scene, I wrote it off as my bad once every 10 year flu bug. We all got over it, my daughters first and me last with Mom somewhere in the middle. I drank a lot of Theraflu and green tea with honey and lemon slices.
I was in Thailand with my husband when the news of Covid struck in late January of 2020. I was very concerned about this novel new pathogen, perhaps owing to my bad recent bout of respiratory illness. Many Chinese were flying into Phuket from Wuhan, so we proactively quarantined at home for two weeks. Nothing happened. That’s when I knew the Covid asymptomatic transmission story was BS.
Oddly my brother in Toledo told me that he and his whole family had gotten a really bad respiratory illness around Christmas of 2019 and one of his girls was taken to the hospital to be checked out. I read rumors online that Covid had been spreading months sooner than the official story said it was, especially in America. I even read one story specifically about Toledo, Ohio being the ground zero for Covid-19. As the years went on this made more sense: I probably got Covid-19 before it was a thing and had immunity. I’ve only tested when I had to for my re entry to Thailand. All were negative at the time for both me and my daughter.
We took my younger girl to a local clinic last year for a staph infection. This is quite common in the rainy season in Thailand scratching mosquito bites can sometimes cause the wound to bubble up and blister. It bears zero resemblance to Covid but I was worried anyways. She had a slight fever and I wasn’t wearing a mask right but they let that go, cleaned the skin lesions on her legs and gave her antibiotics. I applied some antibiotics topically to a few mosquito bites on my legs that I was worried about. That has been it on our family’s health needs since Covid started.
That is until the night before last, when I developed almost instantly the worst thunderclap migraine in my entire life. I don’t think I even understood what a thunderclap migraine was I’ve been blessed with very few headaches of any type in my life. I was laying down on the bed playing on the laptop I had just posted on substack when out of nowhere I felt like somebody macheted the top of my skull. I stood up and felt like I was going to pass out doing so. I laid back down and suddenly deep teeth chattering chills set in. The outside temperature was give or take 80 degrees farenheit. It came out of nowhere.
Of course I blamed it on CERN firing up as maybe they were trying to give me brain cancer with all of their full speed ahead let’s talk to interdimensional beings stuff going on. But I was freezing cold with my teeth chattering, so I tried to view this more holistically. I had eaten a raw green starfruit from our tree about an hour before. Usually they don’t bother me but I know that they have a high level of oxalic acid, which can aggravate the kidneys. My kidneys are sometimes bothered by uncooked high oxalic acid foods which include Swiss chard and collard greens. Kidneys also regulate body temperature sensations and when I had a kidney infection when I was 19 years old I was also teeth chatteringly cold. Perhaps this single starfruit was so loaded with oxalic acid that it was causing me all of this pain. But why was it causing a 10 out of 10 pain scale migraine, of the type that made me sympathetic to those with opiod addictions, was beyond me.
I took some of my daughter’s paracetamol and tried to go to sleep. My headache pain level alternated between an 8 and a 10 through the night. Despite the fact that I was freezing cold, my husband, sleeping next to me, woke up several times and felt my head and neck. “You very hot!” He exclaimed many times. I don’t think he meant that in a sexy way.
Our little digital thermometer hadn’t been used in so long that the battery was dead, so there was no help there. By yesterday afternoon the chills had mostly gone away and the migraine seemed to move, first from the top of my head to my sinus cavities, then out to my temples, then down behind my ears and then to the back of my neck. I had body aches all over and felt like somebody had beat the crap out of me.
Around yesterday afternoon I started developing cold symptoms, starting with a usually productive cough and a runny nose. It had not occurred to me before then that this could be related to any type of respiratory infection. Dammit CERN you’ve misled me!
My daughter seemed perfectly fine until this morning, when she woke up with a terrible headache and body aches. She’s had the same head clapping fever that I had and blames it on me coughing on her last night. Now she is sleeping at least.
Hubby seems totally fine so far. He’s been harvesting jackfruit and cooking and cut some bamboo this morning. Earlier today he climbed our 40 foot tall coconut tree and macheted off a bunch of them, something I can’t even do when I am well. I wonder if he might have gotten an earlier strain of this bug perhaps in 2020 that is a closer match to what’s going around now. Or maybe he’ll get it, or not. Maybe the whole theory of virus transmissability is not right. Who knows what’s going on here.
What I do know is that me and my daughter currently have some type of cold or flu bug that may or may not be some type of coronavirus. I am currently treating it as I would any respiratory infection, which for me involves a light touch with paracetamol (Tylenol) to reduce fever, a cold compress (aka wet rag) on the head for discomfort, vick’s vapor rub if congestion becomes too much, salt water gargles and trusting your own instinct. I could eat virtually nothing yesterday when I was feverish I think my entire day’s food amounted to three spoonfuls of fried rice, a half a bag of chips and maybe 5 ripe jackfruit pods. I wasn’t nauseous just too feverish to want to think of food. Today my appetite came back a bit. My highly feverish nine year old hasn’t eaten more than a couple of oranges since this morning. I’m not going to press her.
I feel no desire to get tested for the time being. My health insurance dropped months ago, money is very tight, and for me anything that I do including a Covid test would be out of pocket. It would be counterproductive to move from here unless I’m sick enough to need treatment. Since our closest neighbor moved out some months ago the nearest occupied house in our area is over 150 feet away. I have no need to go anywhere and would be in more danger of spreading whatever if I did leave.
But we’re still in middle innings of whatever this thing is that we have. I have some basic things here like vitamin C and zinc tablets. I have some odd things like fa-tailai-jon. I don’t have ivermectin though I assume around here all of us could use it for tapeworms.
Anyways I’ll keep you all updated. I’m feeling better except for the cough, which I prefer to brain cancer. I’m worried about my little girl but she’s sleeping soundly which I’m sure is best for her. I have never heard a thing about Covid emerging from a thunderclap migraine before though.
Any advice for what to do about this? How was your Covid experience?
I agree with Jacquelyn's advice below. Especially about making your own HCQ at home. Don't worry about solid food if you have no appetite. But LOTS & LOTS of fluids are really important for both you & your daughter. Yes, take the Vit. C & Zinc & even Vit. D3 if your husband can get some for the two of you. Wishing you both a speedy recovery!
Hi Amy, sorry to hear that you and your daughter are sick! Steve Kirsch has a very lengthy write-up on all the stuff that he took when he got Covid 2 weeks ago. It's very comprehensive. I would recommend checking it out here: https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/how-im-treating-my-covid?r=fo3x2&utm_medium=ios
