That meme my be more true than anything. I emailed the second hospital which does panel physician visits for US visas. Their answer was short, albeit suicidally depressing: you must have two Covid-19 vaccines before they can schedule a medical check. Not just one like Bumrungrad. They all go silent as soon as I ask about exemptions. The US Embassy did get back to my exemption request but said that exemptions are up to the panel physician!
My husband could of course get a jab, any jab or even a fake one, somewhere somehow just so he can get scheduled to see this almighty doctor God. If my problem was solely with Covid vaccines this avenue would seem like a good one, but there will be ten other vaccines at that appointment. I’ve had a few people on substack and elsewhere who have amusingly tried to explain to me that Covid jab mandates for foreignors were dropped, sometimes even linking to some helpful news article which explains that to me. That would be true on any visa class which does not require a medical check.
For all of the progress the medical freedom movement likes to claim, the system is still intact. Fauci is still collecting his blood money and lamenting mistakes made. Covid jabs are still being pushed, recommended and in some circumstances even required. It’s still all there.
Of course I could trash all of the thousands spent on this visa and try to make my husband a tourist visa, say. I tried to do that for Oh but he was denied one due to section 214 (b) ineligibility: basically America is so darned cool that the foreignor must show a compelling interest in returning to their home country, or overstay is presumed and the visa will be denied. Usually this is accomplished by showing $7000-$10000 in a Thailand bank account, which we don’t have. It’s also almost impossible as Ka is married to me and a few Covid jabs away from an IMMIGRANT visa, which nullifies the point.
If any lawyers want to take up the case, or doctors for that matter, I’m very willing to listen. As usual it’s all about the money. The economic machine must be guarded at all costs.
I asked my mother how the quintuple jabbed roommate Paul is doing. He’s getting Covid jab #6 plus a pnemonococal vaccine today Wednesday! Some people never learn. I will pray for him.

Mexico should be given serious consideration. Unless you can find some traffickers to get you both to Panama and come in for the free stuff with the crowd. At least they will fly you to Nevada for free. Maybe with new phones and other goodies as well. Jabs / visas not an issue.
I wish we had picked Mexico over a small rural seemingly safe western american town to escape to in 21... America is hell everywhere now and famine is around d the corner. You can smellnit if paying attention. Life among the neurologically damaged is only marginally tolerable.
