Reminds me of when Ron Paul was running for President of USA - news reported accurate numbers of supporters, but RANKED Ron Paul last. People were not given enough time on the TV news to read the numbers, only enough time to notice the rankings - so they thought he WAS last, instead of 2nd to 3rd from top - and gaining in popularity. JTotal deception. I didn't notice until AFTER, WAY AFTER the election. Now I can't even find them.
Now they just out and out lie about everything. But these maps - same sort of thing. Change the colors to red - and we feel like we're melting.
It's got to be so annoying obvious to stare at that apolocalyptic looking screen on a normal day that I'd think a few people would turn off the television in disgust, walk outside, and make up their own mind how hot it feels compared to other summers...
LOL as a true story I have randomly sang Bohemian Rhapsody. I'm a little pitchy I'm sure but the falsetto is an easy match. Yet I've never performed Under Pressure. ;-)
Bohemian Rhapsody was a staple amongst kids in my neighborhood not so long ago, obviously influenced by their parents (myself included), and they are mostly young adults now. My pilot friend who lived in Thailand early in his career has an awesome karaoke system and no one, ever, was able to keep up with Fred Mercury.
That was one of my favorite memes out of this because it was exactly the pseudointellectual super smart sounding dude who will not listen to a thing you say, but really sounds intelligent doing it...
Love those climate map comparisons.

Shows you how dumb people are getting.
And the top prize goes to
"Can you perform under pressure?"
"I don't know, but I can take a stab at Bohemian Rhapsody".
Absolutely punny!
(Of course, as a dweller of the left coast and living in the past, both tunes are still current and top in the billboards...)

By the way, just listening to it right now, before bed time (I live in the past...)

As a 37minutes old, July 26 looks dark and uninviting. I hope July 26 is looking brighter over there, Amy! Cheers to y'all, going to bed...
