I was thinking about that a lot in Thailand. The home brewed wine was usually acceptable especially the starfruit brews and the hibiscus (coming back in season now) was really good but knocked me out. Less sugar next time! I have a beer brewing kit here I'm going to pop out again
I'm pretty sure Absinthe is a controlled substance considered closer to hard drugs than alcohol, so should I ever go there I might have to share by email as opposed to a public forum....

I have a basement full of fruit homebrew. I want someday to use a still to make brandy from grape wine, for the making of absinthe....
Post the instructions if you do I used to love absinthe...haven't had it in maybe 15 years
