Good stuff Amy, between jobs and have no health insurance at the moment. Fine I will have to tough it thru. Anyone who has issues with tendons or ligaments see COLLAGEN PEPTIDES. You can get a bottle for $20. Absolute miracles as far as I am concerned.

Unfortunately the pain transferred from my Achilles to my neck, shoulder, chest and left arm. Mother bitch it races to a 10 immediately after I wake up. This morning I screamed as I peeled myself off then mattress. Slightly over a week now. Not sure why sleeping aggravates it.

I have iced it and used a heating pad. I never take pain killers but over the last week have taken plenty. It’s something to do with my sleep because that’s when it originally came on.

I took a bunch of tumeric tonight. Supposed to help with inflammation. At least I can find comfort zones where I can breathe easy. However one wrong move and all hell breaks loose. And again, it seems to come one like a hurricane whenever I fall asleep. It’s very strange. I have changed my sleeping position and heating pad while I snooze.

Just putting it out there in case someone has dealt with this bullshit. I doubt it’s a tendon or ligament because I have so much faith in the collagen peptides now. Thinking it’s a muscle or nerve issue. In fact, I am a wee bit scared to go to sleep tonight lol….seriously it hurts bad 😳😳😳

I suspect that everyone's nerves are having issues. I pray you have a restful sleep. Now this Prema yellow oil is an analgesic: Ka calls it massage oil but it is much stronger on pain relief: coconut, sesame, ginger root, galangal root and patchouli root oil...

I have no idea if it is sold outside of Thailand or is simply a local formulation, which is why I provided the best translation I could of the ingredients list. It does seem to take the edge off over here so best with finding it!

My ears started ringing last Thursday at 2am and now when I lay down to sleep. There has to be something external ribbing my nervous system.

Happy Birthday to you two!!

My sleep recently changed. I decided, after years of hesitation, to buy an "earthing mat" for the bed. I've always hesitated because people have such widely varied opinions about them. Some say they really help; others say they're a waste of time.

Well...my sleep actually changed. I'm sleeping deeper. I'm more cognizant of being tired and get to bed earlier. I'm intimately remembering segments of dreams as I awaken. One vital difference is that I continue feeling the emotion I'm experiencing in the dream. I'm also shocked that so many dreams involve people I knew in my former Buddhist organization. People from long ago. People I haven't seen in decades.

The earthing mat has definitely lessened the pain in the one foot which sustained numerous injuries over the years and which has caused me to hobble badly for the last year or so. I actually don't like the mat. You can't have any cream (moisturizer) or oily substance on your body. You sleep on the plastic mat against your bare skin. Yet, the effect is remarkable.

I decided not to use the mat after the first three days and continued with the herbal tincture I'm using--desmodium--only. The pain shot through the roof. I was shocked and went back to sleeping on the mat. I think some part of the pain is caused by the EMF fog in which we live today. I can't explain the effects of the mat otherwise. The combination of the herbal tincture (which has also eradicated some sort of bladder issue I've had for years) and the mat work really well together.

So...I'm gingerly rehabbing the foot. The plantar fasces has been horribly injured and arose as a problem when I began exercising a year or two ago.

I hoping to get an "earthing machine" so I can use regular sheets. Hopefully, it will work as well as the mat or else I have no choice but to use the mat only.

I just take one step at a time in regaining full health. I'm mid-70s remember...and I don't think I had a clue how to deal with aging. I've wondered about being so isolated even now. Because of the isolation, I've really learned how to listen and observe my body intently. I've made some huge strides in the last year.

Can you buy homeopathic remedies there?

Is there a local herbalist who could help?

There are several protocols that could be helpful for both of you.

It's fine to reject mainstream medicine, but in my experience, people need to replace it with something else. Because we all get ill and need expert advice sooner or later.

There's some Chinese medicine types/acupuncturists in the area and yes I am planning on visiting with one soon. As is the Prema Yellow oil is a herbal blend that provides some relief for both me and my husband...

I used to wake up/go to bed with pain (handicap) but no more. Since daily doing a yoga kriya ‘overcoming pain’ I remain pain-free all day/night. Thanks to @Tesstamona.

I also have lingering headaches since end of January. Ear ringing sporadically and mouth/jaw irritation/pain (all same side). All new! Incredibly frustrating. I rarely take ibuprofen, and it's not helping when I do. If I find something that works I will share. Epsom salt bath seems to help but doesn't last. I need to start taking magnesium too.

Ka had a seizure---how did you/he deal with that? And interesting about your headaches and the sleep and yellow oil.

Regarding Ka's last seizure I caught him as he fell. It was early morning he'd been tossing and turning all night and I was in the restaurant charging my laptop (there's power now but before last night I had no Internet). He walked in and seemed very shaking like I saw his hands shake. He said "I think I shock" and I caught him as he went down before he hit his head on the table.

I didn't have time to grab my bag and get anything so that he wouldn't bite his tongue so he had a lot of blood streaming from the side of his mouth. He seemed like he was just coming out of it and then he started seizing up again. He was coming to just as the construction crew was coming in for working on the restaurant.

"Mao? Mao?" The one woman Kuhn Boo asked me when she saw him.She was asking if he was drunk.

"Mai Mao." I replied back, which means "Not drunk." Neither of us had drank alcohol the day before, much less that morning.

Ka did not want to go to a hospital. He never does and really they can't do much for him after the fact. Later that morning I typed up a careful thing in English to Thai language on Google translate explaining about his epilepsy. The thing that worries me is they have often arrived in the past in clusters, but so far there have been no more thankfully.

If stress is the trigger it has something to do with his brother, as the plan that day (cancelled) was to report his ID card stolen (almost certainly by Tee). His last seizure that I witnessed was in September of 2023 after police came to our old bungalow looking for brother Tee. I marvel at that being the cause as we have been through some insanely stressful things on Ka's visa journey with the US Embassy, vaccine mandates, being refused due to them, denial letters, the probably TB diagnosis et cetera which DID NOT cause seizures...
