the Bible is very clear on this point, red flag warnings about engaging in the occult… have a neighbor into witchcraft via Harry Potter (aka Alister Crowley)& weird things DO happen like massive (literally billions of bugs) infestations that stop at the property line🙀. It’s Real.

I've long contemplated what is the occult, per say? It gets real interesting!

used to go to mediums with a girlfriend & we constantly justified it despite what the Bible says because we were so heartbroken, missed our love ones so much & we just did not want to hear about how we shouldn’t be doing it ( it was *extremely* addictive.) one day we were talking on the phone about Jesus (like what would’ve *past-tense* he done) and we both simultaneously heard Jesus say “I’m still here.” we went cold turkey after that.

the Bible specifically warns against witchcraft, divination, necromancy (probably more) to name a few occult practices.

Harry Potter is probably a guidebook to everything you don’t want to do.

Women who knew herbs and healing were burned as witches, so I'm of the mind that humans are usually the real problem.

Thanks for saying that. I think woman have also been vilified for their sexuality as well and called out as witches.

Woman being empowered as a threat.

Evil Harry's avatar

Agreed.

Mostly by men threatened by their beauty, integrity, intelligence, or by their lack of compliance.

Sometimes by women, for the same reasons.

It strikes me that some "enlightened" countries wanted their women subservient, while others wanted their women to carry a pig under each arm or wield a sword, or even test fly aircraft.

Not related to this topic directly, but I very recently became aware of a lady who, in another life, would have been a heroine to many women.

Hannah Reitsch.

Thank you Harry.

I'm laughing because all I want to say is, are you really a man?

But I know that's horrible and not fair. I've just been having awful experiences of late. (well that's not true, really my whole life)

I keep feeling that the whole world, right now, on every level is experiencing an expression of unhealthy masculinity in men and woman as well. As if it is amped up and literally exploding.

That is what you are speaking to on a different level.

Do you have thoughts about this?

I'm also laughing because I have this humorous relationship with the name Harry. It started with the movie 'The Trouble with Harry'. And then 'That's one bad hat Harry', from the movie Jaws.

But it keeps coming to me in humorous ways and odd places. (I thought maybe I might change my name)

I looked up Hannah, yeah the association is tough. But flying, what a beautiful expression of being free and fully empowered.

the Bible also warns about serpents & pharmaceuticals… spot on.

Pharmaceuticals absolutely.

I knew a man who rescues rattlers where he lives. So serpents are a tough one and also might represent sexuality.

In defense of JK Rowling, there are plenty of things written about in fiction that ought not be tried in real life. Recall that witchcraft and wizardry in the Harry Potter books included Defense Against the Dark Arts. The dark arts are being practiced today. As you know, the word “sorcery” comes from the same word that “pharmacy” & “pharmaceutical” comes from. I think that the pharmaceutical industry is orders of magnitude more powerful than witchcraft. By the way, the worship of Baal is alive and well too. https://thestraightjuice.substack.com/p/who-is-baal?utm_medium=reader2

That link reads as if the author is comparing JK Rowling to Lord Voldemort. 😂

Maybe I’m as wicked and as depraved and as evil and as malignant and as satanic/devilish and as narcissistic and as psychopathic and as deceitful as I am because I enjoyed reading the Harry Potter books. I’m sure that my bad character has nothing to do with the human heart being incurably deceitful and has nothing to do with humans being cursed for trusting in our fellow humans primarily, while trusting in Adoni YHWH secondarily to not at all.

Oh Amy, thank you for your memes, each and every one.

For your thoughts on revenge. As if revenge could help anything ever.

I'm so sorry about your dog and hopefully not 'dogs'. Really ghastly.

I seem to be continuing to ride the wave of dominos falling. (unfortunately many take the path of revenge)

I guess I'm a federal agent of one sort or another. Must be true if another says so. But I am wondering what has happened to my paychecks?!?!

Thanks for some levity and honesty.

Losing a pet is heartbreaking, but doesn’t make revenge worthwhile. Let it go before it eats you up from the inside. Bible says don’t visit the spirit world, in no uncertain terms. You can’t finesse it to suit your purpose. You have to believe the whole thing or it won’t work. Don’t have to understand the whole thing in order to believe it. I have enough trouble acting on the parts I do understand and so I don’t worry about the parts I don’t understand (yet). Maybe God’s trying to lighten your load so you guys can move fast when the doors open to get the hell out of Siam? So much from the peanut gallery. Praying for your way back to LV.

Well Daisy lived at any rate. What was sad about this is that I worried about such things in going to America but all three dogs were well fed and cared for while I was gone. The dead chickens story may just be a story I've done counts in the area even around the Muslim areas where nobody keeps dogs and they just aren't hatching chicks like they used to..

Spells have a way of backfiring for the uninitiated. It is typically said, whatever black magic one practices, it comes back threefold. I recommend giving some offerings to the dead dog and pray for divine justice. Make a little shrine and continue to pray for divine justice. After all, poisoning dogs is a little like black magic.

To cast a spell, you need do nothing more than think about the farmer
