Two draw fingers on the longbow, the English don't use the middle finger, two fingered V to the front, though this too as a traditional greeting to politicians and their lickspittles is decreasing to the 'bird' as cultural imperialism takes further root... Xx
I in no way shape or form researched the veracity of the claim, but I thought it was a cute story nonetheless. You'd assume these cultural traditions emerged from somewhere...
Thank you for pointing me to that article. I have read some chatter regarding vitamin A excess though this was much more concise. MAny people would like a quick detox but I suspect that lifestyle changes are more about the change in lifestyle. I had recently read something completely seemingly unrelated regarding a cancer survivor who felt that the addition of baking soda had made a huge difference for him. Of course going down the rabbit hole of let thy food be thy medicine gets complicated fast: it might be that in nature they have natural offsets or compliments that supplements say do not have...
After my brother (who is super Christian) made an awkward comment to me to 'pray, if I do that sort of thing', (my powers being trees/plants/soil etc) I decided to do a deeper dive on the word 'pray'. Overall the word is not attached or owned by any one religious or secular group. It is an expression of intent or desire. One difference regarding praying is that certain religions are supposed to supplicate/lower themselves to their deity. (Not my cup of tea, really). So, yes, all the people, of any chosen church, or any chosen form of worship, are entitled to use the word 'praying' as they see fit. Certain groups do have a long history of stealing words and customs and claiming them as their own, though, that is an old trick indeed. ps the reason my brother asked me to maybe 'pray if you do that sort of thing' is because he has been tricked into buying a house in Florida, that now has flood water to its door'. I would take it as a sign to not move there, but I think he has already committed to it. Oops.
Including the October 7th massacre? I don't remember you writing any comment about nor against it. If you claim that the meme that shows that Israel Is at fault for not recognizing the validity of the Palestinian narrative it doesn't mean that the people they fight are invisible or non existing. I think it would require some type of humility before you voice an opinion about a topic you might be completely ignorant about.
While not the point of the meme, why do the Olympic shooters use one hand and the Israeli soldier uses two hands which is typically recommended for accuracy? Are the Olympic shooters not allowed to use two hands or what?

The story is widely known, it’s just that it is the ‘two fingered salute’ not one…

The cat with PETA sticker!
Amy have you ever been in the middle east that you share such one sided memes about Israel.
I am opposed to slaughter wherever I see it
