I have still been trying to find an answer to the question of whether (illegal) migrant border crossers, or those on the planes somebody is flying in (on whose dole?) are ever given the Covid vaccine.
Thank you for looking into this Amy. “Vaccine inequities” haha that’s a fucking riot. I am certainly not of the mindset that because West Civ was essentially brow beat into submission that migrants need to be forced too. I can’t help but think that covid jab would have been VERY prevalent down on the S Border.
The left was deadly serious about covid and it just occurred to me Pfizer and Moderna would love to be able to claim more people got their beloved jabs. Shit by 2023 they should’ve had stockpiles of it to send down there.
Not sure if I misread that article but it certainly doesn’t sound like there was a major push to force vax them. It’s beginning to sound like TPTB did not want them to take the shot.
Ohhh btw I did hear one time the excuse was given that it was just too sticky of a situation because of their citizenship status. And government officials didn’t want to break some sort of international law. I remember that being flung about at one point. I also remember rolling my eyes and thinking bullshit. Those fuckheads broke all kinds of laws during covid. It was a laughable excuse. Not sure if you recall hearing that before.
I never heard the breaking international laws things but I am rolling my eyes and thinking they just make up this shit as they go at this point...would they have had a specific nefarious reason to NOT have illegals jabbed?
Awesome Monday Memes, Amy! I can’t verify, but I understand catch and release is not catch, vax, and release, adding insult to American injuries. But TPTB must be conflicted. There’s gold in that there vax for BP, and SAMO’s link enlightened me to a new sales pitch: “vaccine inclusion” is the remedy for “vaccine inequity.” It pains me to see language tortured without humor.
Speaking of tortured language, let’s add Begging the Question to the Logical Fallacies list. It’s commonly misused to mean “prompts or raises another question”—probably because that literally makes sense. Classic example of BtQ: “When did you stop beating your wife?” Might define that as “assuming an arguable premise is a fact,” like saying, “Trump is going to start a war again.”
Well - I just finished reading an article in the Oct 2024 Reader's Digest (don't judge me) called "SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS! FOR EVERYBODY! Are you up to date on your vaccines? Our handy guide will let you know," by Beth Weinhouse from www.thehealthy.com. (TheHealthy.com is a Reader's Digest brand. Why am I not surprised?) Apparently the Reader's Digest and their brands still trust the World Health Organization's claim that "vaccines have saved more human lives - 154 million, including 101 million infants, in the last 50 years alone..." I wonder if that statistic includes the covid years? The article lists 8 vaccines: What Vaccines You Need and When -- including influenza (everyone, every year), Covid-19 (everyone, it depends), etc.
There is another vax article on the website titled: "New National Data: Less Than 20% of This Vulnerable Group Are Getting Their Covid Vaccine, by Lauren Gray, updated Sep. 30, 2024."
You guessed it! That group? "Pregnant people."
So much conflicting data out there, but this may be the end of my subscription to RD. How could anyone encourage EVERYONE to get a vaccine for a "virus [that] continues to mutate" and a vaccine that has injured, if not killed so many people?
I am absolutely shocked and disappointed at both these articles appearing in such a longstanding publication sharing human interest stories and targeted at the average American. Shame on RD.
I used to read readers digest we had a subscription for my grandmother for many years. It always was mainstream but anything which is promoting vaccines at this point especially using fake science blatant lies to do so, is either willfully ignorant or so bought off it is not worth my attention.
One of the first signs of a catastrophic vaccine is whether on a two dose series people go back for the second jab. I had some old stats which haven't been updated since last October which say that overall, 81% of US adults have taken at least one jab, but the number drops 10% for those taking the two dose series. The numbers are even lower for babies thank God something like 4% of under two year olds had one dose but only 1% had two doses. That screams horrible side effects that even this brainwashed population noticed.
Hopefully the remaining 20% of pregnant "people" are learning not to trust their doctors...
