That made me feel warm and fuzzy inside Iseeit. Like attracts like and I sometimes need reminding of that when I feel like I'm constantly pushing against a strong headwind...
Yes, Kill Your TV……this was an old bumper sticker from the 90’s …..unplugging from the constant onslaught of propaganda is one of the best things we can do for our sanity. In my opinion the other best thing is to make art, I love your little painting 🥰.
It's amazing and disturbing how this stuff about signals from humans during the Covid jab rollout was considered a crazy conspiracy theory and then just like that they roll out a Wikipedia article like its no big deal. I suppose that's their standard MO.
I believe something bigger is hiding behind this all, which is that all of us have been electromagnetic beings since the start. If we could harness our conscious powers instead of allowing that energy to be trapped in their matrix by their stories what a wonderful world this could be. It might require taking down the usury monetary system as we know it to happen though...
In the same year we get the earliest first presidential debate in history (June 27th vs Sept 21st), we also get a presidential nominee dropping out the latest (3.5 months vs 8 months). It's probably just a coincidence.
Good thoughts, Amy. There Is so much we can turn off. Politics person 262626 can be worthwhile, but these days, sanity calls for mega-doses of wonderful world. Deciding to have an ongoing crisis is hilarious because it’s true. In the immortal words of Dirty Harry Callahan, “A man has got to know his limitations.”
It's an old DHS report as it doesn't have antivaxxers on there as a terrorist group. The categories that they do have however are so broad that they encompass every thinking person who is opposed to the loss of life, liberty and property at the hands of the ruling class in some way.
I'm enjoying my time on the beach I like to paint nature scenes that are right in front of me as this one is. It gives you a sense for how light and shadows move. The abandoned restaurant we are staying in it front of the campsite could be beautiful itself with a little fixing up. I'm trying to make the most of it. This marks the longest we have stayed in one place in Thailand this entire year...
I went sailing day before yesterday (Why yes, even up here atop the world we have a season, short mind you, when the lake water's not ice hard.) and yesterday had to grab my brushes and paint the memory of the surprisingly long legged beauties bounding on the shore. I believe painting or sketching, either be it there, plein air, or day later from memory, is a far better way to fix memories than photographs. While writing this I pulled my 1990 Thailand sketch book off the shelf.
Parenthetical aside; (As I was typing the above my son, and putting another parenthetical aside inside the aside; [He was my first mate on the sail noted above, I let him do the heavy work like loading the outboard motor aboard and, once we were on the water, while stepping it dropping the mast overboard. If anyone hears that I ran aground approaching the haulout, that's just spiteful rumor, there were only two witlessness and they disagree!] and my savage teenage granddaughter came in the door. I passed her the Thai sketches. She commented some 15 minutes later; "Dad, you may be cool but you'll never be as cool as your dad!" Hey, I'm quite amazed and delighted at how smart and astute the youngsters are today! ). ;-)
So! No! In my opinion it's not necessarily time to turn off the screens but at least step away, and sketch, every other day!
I know that I'm a weirdo Amy, but I actually do love you. You're a seriously amazing human. God bless you.

I agree. Whenever I see you in my inbox - you're the next click!

Squirrelled away some of those images in my meme folder, the DHS summary report was shocking yet unsurprising I suppose.
You're a talented artist Amy, good luck with the painting sales!
