Random idea, I think they should lure Bill Gates to the White House so somebody can poison his drink.

Very relieved and happy for you..hope you will be home by Thanksgiving...has Ka ever seen a Turkey?

We had a neighbor some doors down from our rental house in Laem Sai who raised turkeys and peacocks so Ka should have seen them. A whole traditional Thanksgiving turkey cooked in the oven, on the other hand, would be near impossible to find here...

Five thoughts. 1) Good news progress on the visa! 2) That same cat tried to sell me life insurance. 3) If that cat asks me to buy girl scout cookies, I will. 4) I thought about asking why a friend of the guitarist had the PIN. 5) I thought about minding my own business.

Ka likes playing the guitar but we no longer have one. So he asked to borrow the guitarist’s one night and was trying to play music using YouTube music played on the phone as a base to get the chords right. The phone kept on freezing and so both the guitarist and his friend found out the unlock PIN. This was after some partying, singing and socializing. That phone was old, with a cracked screen and English language only options as it was bought in the USA, so I didn’t think anyone would take it for those reasons alone. Live and learn I suppose.

Why do I have a hyperlink?

Good news on your husband getting to the next level with the negative TB results - hopefully 'they' will capitulate on the C19 injection insistence soon too, fingers crossed for you.

Rehabilitating water logged phones - my Dad dived straight into his hotel pool with the cheap phone I'd bought him for his Thailand stay in his pocket - vintage Dad moves. I took it apart and put it in a bowl of rice grains for 2 days - worked fine afterwards.

so now Ka can get into the US without the lethal injection? 🙏

The injections have always existed in this quasi legal open to interpretation area for the panel physicians: technically they can be refused based on sincere religious beliefs for example, but they seem to have metrics that make it near impossible to do that. I'd say bribery is the more common route out of them. We've been very persistent.

They might simply be relaxing exemptions which have always existed due to pushback from especially the Covid jabs. I've long maintained that part of fixing the very very broken US immigration system involves making the legal type a little less of a horror show...

They dropped the nonimmigrant Covid jab, but Ka is on the immigrant visa class which still pushes them

I don’t think they can question sincerely held religious beliefs, the length of time they are held, whether the church agrees with the belief or if the belief is supported by a pastor. This is geared around employers but the principles must apply generally https://lc.org/exempt
