Great Strip! On a comment about your brother.....I am in the same boat. I think we are all exhausted and very tired of the whole thing. I can't say I will be voting this time around either. (really, what's the point)

I've turned into a pissed off old lady and I never saw that coming.

I am not in the whole staged movie BS and deceit is still deceit. I am also thinking like JamesDuff. Come on anytime dear Lord God.

That sounds familiar. Assuming the Judeo-Christian God, it’s inaccurate. “You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which the Lord your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people” (Deuteronomy 16:18). Somebody always wins an election. Win or lose, choosing judges and officers is our responsibility.

For me, the main lesson of the 21st century is nobody knows much! Substack is an awesome forum for kicking around opinions, tracking a little evidence, and getting intellectually honest feedback. I appreciate yours. Trying to be intellectually honest with myself, I choose to seek the kingdom of God, and I find the Bible, complete with everything pick-apart-able, points to peace and love, and the principles deliver. I agree that owners and masters are not God’s perfect design. Not everybody agrees with us on that, and in a less than perfect world, somebody needs to protect victims (so the Bible tells me). We can’t be everywhere for everybody, so I think we need to delegate and pray for the best.

This debate over whether voting or otherwise participating in the affairs of this world and those deigned to rule over us is an interesting one which has popped up on both my substack and in other places on the Internet. It is worthy of an article with electio season coming up though I'd have to gather my thoughts on it. I also want to take a wider lens regarding Eastern mythos and authority.

It exists in Thailand and Buddhist teaching too i.e. the King is believed to be highly evolved and hence should be revered. The question which then emerges is were these things simply written by those in power to protect their power? Or did higher leaders fulfill some purpose without which the masses would collapse into anarchy, chaos, and mob rule?

Is it also possible that people could be changing in a way that makes leadership no longer necessary or even counterproductive?

Revelation 18:23. Never has the whole world ever been deceived by sorcery up till Covid. Christ said he would come back. Quite certain he will in the clouds. Quite certain there will be a blue beam imitation of his return.

We still wait for the anti christ!

To declare himself God.

Seems like wars rumors of wars is in effect.

Seems to me evil is in our faces arrogant proud

Knowing time is short.

Tedros what I want to know is how does the who have any power? Like the WEF it all must just relate

To huge sums of money.

Trump is not perfect but best option unless you like

Invasion at border inflation in terms of things costing 30% more than 4 years ago.

The Christ keeps reminding me put no trust in man!

Trump is not good. Research “his fruits”.

If you mean personality “not good,” I agree. I also agree that fruit counts, such as a secure border, a healthy economy, normal military recruitment, a quiet little rocket man, Russia respecting Ukraine’s borders, the demise of ISIS, Obama’s war in Afghanistan winding down, and hardnosed but widely peaceful international relations. We could argue the source of covid and the vax while Trump was under constant political assault and Walz types allowed BLM and Antifa to run wild, but the coups against free speech and the democratic process are fruits of different administrations.

I always feel relieved when I come to your substack. I don't criticize people for writing lengthy stacks, but the stack better well intrigue me to read a long, winding stack. Your stack showed me that information can be sent and delivered with wonderfully funny memes and cartoons. I don't write often, but when I do, I'm using more pictures and short videos. I love the written word, but I think that, sometimes, people feel beholden to satisfy their subscribers.

I think, too, I'm old. I read voraciously so I need only to know the few new points in most articles.

About Christ. I think Steiner made comments along the lines you did. The "coming of Christ" is actually in the etheric plane or dimension. We are all progressing toward etheric lives as our next development, and we will "know Christ" because we become Christ. Anthroposophy believes that Christ entered the physical realm to demonstrate the principle of redemption or "arising from death" meaning exactly that the physical body falls away with great spiritual progress and the message of Christ becomes embodied within the life essence.

I would contend, as a Christian guy, that the most overlooked passage of Christ’s life is when He kicked the folks selling cheap offerings at the temple. Using a makeshift whip. Jesus was “bad ass”! That’s the Jesus that comes to mind when someone asks “what would Jesus do?” Oh, too much digression. Physical clouds are gathering on my horizon and we are expecting thunderstorms and high winds overnight. My brother-in-law and wife are to arrive from Texas at 10 pm local time (bout hour and a half), and I’m hoping the weather holds. Wow, I wrote a post! Maybe I should get more serious doing so.

Great tune, excellent memes. Trusting and verifying, I ran to unimpeachable wiki and found, “Tedros joined the Tigray People's Liberation Front,” and “the Tigrayan People's Liberation Front, is a left-wing ethnic nationalist, paramilitary group.” A militant racist leads the World Health Organization, and American politicians support him. That can’t sink in far enough.

I love the thought of “Christ consciousness rising within all of us, individually.” I think that’s the Christian ideal, and it’s far more meaningful and immediate than what the future might hold. Whatever the case, I want to balance the fun of living in the moment with the agony of fighting the powers while I “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). “All these things shall be added to you” gives me peace and, I’ll admit, appeals to my greedy human nature.
