Florida has stepped out of line lately----their Surgeon General has spoken out against covid shots. Could that have anything to do with the record breaking hurricane?
I've been pondering how certai US States have made it illegal to mandate the Covid jabs, though Florida is the only one to officially not recommend them for any age group. Could that be used to fight against the jabs for immigration purposes? I don't think most people are aware that this is still a thing...
i seriously doubt many of the illegal aliens took the shot. if you can get across the border and flown all over the country without identification, you're obviously not carrying a vaxx card
There's no definitive link between increased storms and global warming - ask Judith Curry about all that. But of course that inconvenient fact doesn't stop the narrative from putting the two together. There's also no evidence that storms are even increasing in strength - as a trend. But hey more and bigger storms make people miserable. Misery seems to be the MO these days.
I was just talking to my husband about the white hazy sky here in N. Cali. It's a white layer of haze on the ground actually when you look down towards the valley from the foothills. No one acknowledges it. No one talks about the fact that the fog is gone year after year.
Helene was not the largest hurricane. While WaPo is not my favorite source of news, the graphic in this article helps to tone down the hyperbole towards a calmer version of truth.
jeff childers mentioned the hunga tonga volcano as a factor in extreme weather/precipitation and i agree
here in nyc we've had more grey skies with no rain than any summer i've ever seen, usually the clouds grow until they burst, caribbean style, then it's over. you could look across the river to jersey, see the storm brewing and prepare accordingly. not this year. weird
I've read a bit about the hunga tonga eruption injecting water vapor into the stratosphere. Julius Reuchel recently wrote a book regarding what he thinks is going on, which has to do with water vaporand not CO2, but I haven't read or bought it yet.
I'm open to all theories, though I doubt the consensus one of man made global warming from CO2 ..

Misery does seem to be the default...perhaps it's birthing pains for a new era.
🙏
There s nothing wacky with the hurricanes. It is different every year.

water gathers on the volcano particulates and eventually saturates them. splash! no CO2 involved
