Agreed. Most don’t understand the sociological dynamics of Hawai’i, how the plantation labor and the how legacy of the sugar/pineapple barons continue to shape the mindset and political dynamics to this day. It literally lies at the root of how Hawai’i became a blue state. But you are absolutely right—red/blue doesn’t matter one whit here. No one can judge anyone, and they shouldn’t. The tragedy is a tragedy, and there are real lives affected. Keep going, Amy. Keep going. ✊🏾

Great insight, TFish. And yeah, keep hammering away, Amy. Anyone who earnestly believes “they voted Democrat and got what they deserved” is a low-information voter fueling the wildfire of division. Ben was right 200 years ago and today. If we don’t hang together against the uniparty, we shall hang separately. In a frighteningly real sense, the hangings have already begun. It's past time for the states to unite behind the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Nice thought there, Horses, but when a government declares war on its own people, they have proven beyond any doubt that they don't give two hoots in hell about our rights ... whether written on paper or not. Once arriving at this point, the options for we the people are nullification and secession. Texans are now lining up to leave this festering mess, fully aware that their back is to the wall ...

We do have birthrights and constitutions to reclaim. It’s time to review and consider the justifications for independence declared in 1776 America and 1836 Texas. Mark Tippetts, Libertarian candidate for Texas governor in 2022, spoke much truth and made a lot of sense.

The number of missing reported in the media makes no sense. Headlines say 300+ are missing but then buried deep in the same article is says,

"The 388 names represented a portion of a broader list of up to 1,100 people reported missing."

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2023/08/26/hawaii-wildfire-missing-people-list-includes-many-who-say-theyre-safe/70690347007/

So which is it? Are 1100 missing or are 388 missing? I mean it's quite a difference.

I've noticed these numbers of missing being floated around at the same time as they have kept the "official" number of dead at 115 or so for over a week. This is an Op big time. I have an open sourced list that lists hundreds not accounted for yet:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WAA1iFGIOT7H3xJcr5aRgqVbUdwPnJkBolBc-eFFlJE/edit#gid=0

The schoolchildren should be easy to account for but I recognize that distance learning and homeschool programs might have made this a little difficult. It would not effect a large number of students and even there there are programs in place. The isolation of the Hawaiin islands makes this official story all the more diffcult to believe. They didn't walk over a border here...

I'm on BC's west coast, it's 4:30 am and we just had the most un-natural lightning show (consistently blinding flashes with hardly any thunder). My car is packed with essentials in case.

I should write up about a good bug out bag in these cases. The night my older daughter was born though it was a lot of lightning streaking with almost no thunder. I guess as a comparison when I think I had a lightning strike indirectly hit me in May the lightning hit before the thundercrack during which I was screaming and running inside. This is going to sound odd but I don't care if you are evacuating from a fire: always have lighters...

Dramatic entry for your daughter! (Has her personality borne this out?)

Reinette Sunum did a similar thing the other day... which led me to include a pair of work gloves because who knows? Oddly, photographs are my last consideration. Matches, check.

In a way my daughter's personality has born this out in a lightning in the sky but not thundercrack way...

I caught a lightning strike (NE Ohio) the other night that was quite close, yet no thunder. I always thought after lightning, thunder always follows.

Hmmmmmm

So did I. Even if after quite a few seconds, and faint at that. What happened here (it's over now thank goodness) was blinding flashes with almost no thunder. Not natural at all.

Omg! I’m in NE Ohio too. Do you happen to remember if the lightening strike was before or after the “small earthquake “? I didn’t feel it, but I guess people north of me did.

I did not know about the earthquake.

This happened last weekend I believe.

The earthquake makes it even more suspect!

Edit: it was on 8/20. I found the text to my sister telling her about it.

Hit the nail on the head with that one tweet. Slavery just expanded to include everyone. Working

a metric ton of hours a week just to not be homeless and this is IF you go along with the various rules(games) they toss out at us.

The only problem is is how to we get off this plantation? Self employment seems like the only way but they're going after that in various ways too. We need a modern day Harriet Tubman lol.
