False underlying assumptions in the climate change models allow the WEF to frighten wealthy countries into funding their climate change BS. It’s exactly the same kind of thing they did with the Covid models. The climate fluctuates, and the planet is self regulating. There is nothing we can do about that. However, I am 100% in favor of a clean environment and a clean planet. Clean water, clean air is essential for all life. I compost and recycle. I grow flowers for the bees. People assume conservative-leaning people don’t care. It’s just not true.

It's probably the opposite I did a lot of environmental science stuff in high school and college. We'd clean up trash in parks and do soil and water analysis and tag chipmunks to track them. I understand the effects of pollution at a local individual level and the power of one to clean up that space. I amuch less enamored of large scale top down solutions proposed by megalomiacs like blocking out the sun with chalk dust. Ahh, the folly of man

The data misrepresentation in the field of climate science is absolutely disgusting. For some reason, nobody seems to bother explaining that every dire scenario is predicated on postulated climate feedback mechanisms, not just CO2 concentration. Similarly, the appeal to historical trends is rife with data methodology problems that never seem to get brought up. John Dee on Substack has started an excellent series on this.

Could we be headed towards a climate disaster? I think it is a feasible possibility, but policy is being written and livelihood is being drastically impacted as if it is a certainty. TANSTAAFL. Is reducing pollution and waste a noble goal? Yes, but just like with the state of modern medicine, the concept of "informed consent" is lost.

However, I'd like to make a small critique of the concept of "greening" as commonly used by skeptics of mainstream climate change. While the effect exists, I think that in the short term climate triggered environmental changes (rainfall, temperatures) would result in a net negative impact.

It may be. What I do know is that those in power like to use alarmist predictions (which are almost always blatantly untrue and they are never held to account for that fact) of impending disaster to create a REAL manmade catastrophe through their actions...

One false assumption they rely on is that cloud vapor behavior is predictable. It might be SOMEDAY, but it certainly won’t be anytime soon. This kind of thing negates any conclusion drawn from the model but no one cares.

You might have added "politicians" or "climate scientists" to the list of causes. Once politics enters the picture, the image will be forever distorted to fit someone's agenda. Science dies, as we saw during the covid.

I wanted to put more choices on my poll but 5 was all they allowed. It's using a blowtorch to put out a fire thinking there for sure..

The climate has NEVER been stable on earth. The idea we should be AT ALL shocked that it changes, is ASININE to begin with. As for OBVIOUS natural causes, we could start with the cycles of the sun, our changing orbits, (progression), oh, and the oncoming POLAR SHIFT.

Only MORONS believe the climate cannot possibly change without mankind causing it.

I saw and photographed a bunch of chemtrails when I drove through New Mexico on I-40 in 2017 or so of course that would be more north. We see them all the time in Las Vegas to but my pilot friend argued they were just contrails from commercial flights and weather phenomena. I have never once seen them in Thailand is that because it is warmer here? It is an interesting area for sure!

I agree completely. Right now I think they are allowing the twitterari to vent in order to herd them back into that digital cattle pen. As much as they hate Trump they of course love Operation Warp Speed too both for the bump in ratings and to steer the armchair quarterbacks back into watching the game rooting for their favorite team. It's going to take a building from the ground up to turn the ship around
