"Died at home unexpectedly", "died in her sleep peacefully", etc. seems to be happening in 1 out of 12 deaths on a local funeral home website here. Ages are 39, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 72.

Even if only half are due to the jabs, that gives 140,000 excess US deaths per year.

I don’t personally have a tale such as this but I do have a good friend, a nurse at a prestigious heart clinic. She’s been there over 2 decades and knows her stuff. She told me the sheer volume of young men coming into the clinic with “old man” heart issues is unreal. What they used to see per YEAR, they now see per month, at least. Some docs know and are quiet. Some docs act as though it’s all the norm or they are baffled. SHE writes each patient’s vax status in bright marker in front of each file she touches. Many do not. (Seems like that should be an office rule). Nurses in agreement speak in code. She had a mom in tears last week. One of her twin sons had died while jogging. He was 27, vaxxed and super fit. She is heartbroken, as is his brother. She knows it was the vax.

We’ve never heard of so many young people dying nor so many dying on the field of play.

A semi "retired" neighbor who has worked part-time at the local funeral home was called in for full time work, beginning about a year ago. He said the need for funeral services - mostly in the last year - has surpassed what he had been seeing in prior years.

I hate to say it but people close to the death grieving industry should be getting hit hard by this. I just had a natural experiment that happened where I am in a position to talk about it. I pray it gets better soon..

I have made peace with my own mortality...that is the one silver lining this disaster has made me confront.

Death is but a transition. I look forward to the relief death brings because I'm fed up with this living hell...

there's this church up the block from my old apartment (upper westside nyc) that was closed for the longest time. it reopened suddenly in the winter of 2021.. it's on the way to a deli i often go to so i go by there a lot. the first thing i noticed was that they were having funerals there again. what also quickly became apparent was that there was almost always a funeral happening there no matter what time of day it was. that's still the case.

at first i wouldn't see a lot of people there - usually just the hearse and a car service minivan to take the family to the cemetery. but now i see more cars out front and more people exiting the church. younger than the usual entourage of just the immediate family. the creepiest moment was when there were a ton of kids exiting the church - gradeschoolers - and at first i thought that a schoolteacher might have died. then i saw the child-size coffin. sure, it might have been something other than the shot.
