LOL I read about a similar study done at some bowling alleys, also with O'Doul's swapped with regular beer. Participants were the same as always....including acting drunk in some cases!
Good post Amy. That flyer Mrs. Creed added Thai translation to, directs people to the world council for health detox guide, but that is in English. I distributed printed copies of the flyer around Bangkok yesterday and explained they'd need to use a translation plug in once on the website. Nobody was dismissive of me, people were genuinely interested to learn more.
That is good to hear. I still go to the Buddhist Wat almost daily to charge my laptop (we have a solar cell but the plug in for the computer is MIA) As such I see many many funeral ongoing, many of which have been among younger people in their 30's say. Although the current one is not of that type I think I could make a lot of traction with some of them if the monks were so allowing. Thank you for that one I'll see how it goes!
This is landmark and fascinating study showed that people with osteoarthritis improved equally well regardless of whether they received a genuine surgical procedure or a sham.
From the abstract: “In this controlled trial involving patients with osteoarthritis of the knee, the outcomes after arthroscopic lavage or arthroscopic debridement were no better than those after a placebo procedure.”
In the 1980s a fraternity ordered kegs of Heinekin. Instead of Heinekin, the kegs were filled with O'Doule's per the college administration.
The boys polished off the kegs and got more and more shithoused with each fill up. They all passed out after a few hours of "heavy partying."
Non-alcohol beer, when you believe it is loaded, can do that to you.
Mind over matter.
Good post.
