Man, you've been through the ringer. The jabs definitely could have been a cause, or at least a contributing cause. My hubs has gut problems that started after a round of antibiotics. He's never been able to totally get rid of it. Good thing is, he can't drink alcohol or it makes him sick.
As an immigrant, I also had to do the medical exam (no shots needed for me back in 2008) but I was definitely given a copy of both the medical exam form, vaccination report, and the chest x-ray disc. Consular is supposed to give every immigrant a copy of their medical exam report and visa applicants can and indeed should ask for it at their interview (this is in addition to what used to be the big yellow sealed envelope given to the visa applicant to give at POE - it's all electronic now, nothing to carry with you except maybe the chest x-ray disc but they don't take those at POE).
The medical exam form, vaccination report and chest x-ray disc were all inside the big yellow sealed envelope. I tried to warn Oh a bit about vaccines beforehand which was part of why I told him to bring his previous vaccine records. I didn't know if he would "need" any or not before he went in. It was a woman doctor and he said she was very nice. I am sure he said that there were three jabs but perhaps there was something else they gave him...
I always warn folks to either have their vaccine cards ready, get paperwork from their own doctor or do titers well ahead of their exam. There’s also the waiver form for USCIS to approve - I-601. Takes more time and extra fee but goes through.
Your husband was very ill.
His health got worse after all those jabs.
Stress of relocation.
His drinking.
He was one hot mess.
Western medicine is largely a failed philosophy.
Good for physical trauma, sometimes.
Pert near useless for most other maladies. IMHO.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
Your husband is in a better place now.
Rest his soul.
❤️
I'd guess you're right about the iatrogenic issues, and my sympathy goes out to you and your passed on husband. for what that's worth
Very poignant post, and yes, it sounds like Oh's immune system was damaged from the three jabs prior to America.
I'm so sorry for this pain that you, Oh, and your daughter all went through.
Sending you prayers.
