Perhaps there is a spiritual component to that gentleman too. I also take an interest in those who seem to de age perhaps then resonating on a higher frequency through some personal change and on the other extreme those who age very fast over a few stressful years. I don't think any amount of external fixes will change if internal fixes have become too thoroughly corrupted. But don't we all love the before and after quick fixes?

Answer 40

Health, research taught me, WFPB is a good start. Check out Barbara O'Neil.

She covers many areas. Diet, sleep, exercise, healing among other important factors in feeling well.

It's not all genes.

I read and researched much of Dr. Greger, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. McDougall along with the author of the Cheesetrap, Dr. Neal Barnard.

Take what works for you. Listen to your body FFS. Pay attention.

Prayer / Meditation is also beneficial. B. O'Neil has a great overall perspective on the whole as she reveals in her teachings.

Dr. Greger, who I quit following over his stance on vaxes has much info and studies at his site. He also taught me about changing what nature/God already has for you.

One simple study.

What happens when you drink a glass of orange juice ?

You get an unhealthy spike in your glucose.

https://nutritionfacts.org/video/reducing-muscle-fatigue-with-citrus/

Why? I recall a few factors, you're changing the complexity of the natural product and condensing it down. If you eat an orange you have a healthy reaction.

Extrapolate the results to supplements. Same results, more harm than benefit, IMO.

It's why processed foods are killers, they also rot your teeth.

Did you hear that. They rot your teeth FFS. If they are that bad as soon as you consume them think about the rest of your system.

Oh and stay away from Allopathic medicine. They're the modern day killing fields.

As far as looking younger? Not sure. But I am sure about people I know that have taken responsibility for their own health and do most of the things I've stressed here. They look fitter and yes younger and more often than not they have a glow about them. But mental well being takes a role in that as well IMO.

And yes, I'm giving medical advice.

TPTG can go fuck themselves.

They are the murderers.

21 + 8 + 11 = 40 ?

Hell, what do I know.

Perhaps:

1+4=5 (+)

2+5=12 (+)

3+6=21 (+)

8+11=40

Seems logical, pattern recognition perhaps.

LOL I agree with your assessment on the math question. This post is funny because in my own noncommittal way three different numbers questions are asked for the casual skimmer of posts: how old I look, how old Angela Paul looks, plus the answer to a (I don't think very difficult) math pattern recognition question. On the plus side I don't think I look 96 years old...and thus far my average is a not too bad 43...

I'm not sure, see my other comment above. I came up with 40 and added an explanation.

How do you conclude 96 ?

Written: a + b

Actual calculation: a + a*b

But your answer works, too. :)

I guessed the 70-year-old as well into her 60s. The eyes, Amy.

I don't look at how old someone is but rather how well they look. Everything we've thought, lived, and produced is reflected in our faces. Some people have hideous faces. The one most in the news who comes to mind is Hillary Clinton. She looks awful. I don't care how much make-up and lighting she applies, everything she's done is reflected in her face.

I've seen such kind faces both in younger and older people. Such gentleness and kindness. I've seen the opposite, too.

The answer is 40. The first line is your base because the space is a zero until you do the addition. After that point, the answer or result in the previous line is added to the sum in the next line which gives your answer.

1+4=5

2+5=12 (because 2+5=7+5=12)

3+6=21 (because 3+6=9+12=21)

Thus

8+11=19+21=40

Glad you were able to get to your reliable repair person. I don't think people today are much interested in returns. Maybe the economy. I've got to return an item to Amazon. Since I don't have a phone (by choice), I've had to get a new library card and print remotely from home to get the QR code attached to my return item which I must, then, take to Whole Foods. In the past, the process is so arduous for me, without a phone connected to the web, that I usually swallow the cost and give away or donate the item. Like most people today, I simply can't afford to do that anymore. I really need the money to use on other items.

I initially got rats answer of 96, which is arrived at as the number multiplied by the next number then adding the first number back in. At first when I saw all this stuff about 40 I figured that was just how old people thought I looked. Now I do see 40 as the answer though both that and 96 have a formula that works. I suppose it's just which way your brain thinks.

There are some people who you just can't make look good. Both Hilary and Bill Clinton aged poorly. He looks like some sort of ghoul. Victoria Nulland, irredeemable warhawk that she is, also started off quite pretty and then turned into some sort of poisonous toadstool. People do not seem to age well if their job is too thoroughly in the corrupted status quo system. It does damage and it shows...

Smoking my fifth cigarette of the day & starting my second cup of coffee. Chainsawed a few trees and brushed an area yesterday. I'm working up my grain bill to brew a batch of White Nights Stout next week. Got a wife three years younger than me that's still spry and active. Me? I'm 86.

Secret of longevity? Sure, I'm happy to share it with you. Look both ways crossing the street and most important, if you want to live to a ripe old age, pick the right grandparents!

That’s awesome to hear, Jim. My mother is still active and doing well at 82: she takes zero prescriptions and zero supplements. Her parents lived to 84 (grandpa died of a heart attack) and 94. On my father’s side grandpa died at 93 and grandma also at 94. So there’s a fairlyu robust constitution, but always be grateful and take no day for granted…

I think much, not all, of "aging" is genetic. Years ago I worked with a guy who would be the envy of other men and the dream of most women. He was probably 6'-4" tall and maybe 200 muscular lbs. A thick head of hair, a strong jawline, a ready smile and a kind heart. He had very broad shoulders, long and strong arms, and a slim waist. He quit going to bars because some smaller drunk would always pick a fight with him. When they wouldn't be dissuaded, he would reluctantly drop them with one punch. Rich widows would hire him to do remodeling on their homes, just do they could watch him work! His secret? Absolutely nothing. He had spent some years previously doing drugs and eating junk and never lost his admirable physique. Happily, he became a Christian, married a lovely girl and became a missionary to Mexico.
