Better keep an eye on him. The Thai wife of an Army helicopter pilot I worked with once told the guests at a party that her husband was never going to Bangkok without her because they didn’t call it that for nothing. 😈 I blew whatever it was that I was drinking right out of my nose along with everyone in the room when she said that. Quite a character that former temple dancer was. Yes, indeed. Her husband never had a dull moment with her around. 😏
LOL not the dog unfortunately! I was being a bit tongue in cheek my husband has been gorging himself nonstop on Thailand Isaan movies on some channel in the hotel room. It has thus far been a sober and uneventful night....
One thing which is nice about the USA as it comes to the whole Hellish processs is that they leave you alone largely after it is finished: in Ka's case he'd hopefully get a 10 year green card and options for US citizenship after staying in the USA with me for 2-3 years. Thailand makes it easy to come but there's constant hassles to continue to stay...
Look at this: my adult daughter was born in the US, at a time my wife and I were living and working there under H1B visas. In summer 2022, she was on a pickle, as she was living in Canada and was invited to a trip to Europe (France) by her boyfriend’s family. She could not leave to France from Canada without a vaccine record (which, as you can gather, she hadn’t). But she could entry the US and from the US entry European soil... without a f**ing injection QR code. The test is history: successfully visited France as an unvaccinated Canadian trough her US citizenship. So.... deny, fight, do not take, say no to, digital is and cdbc. These are freedom killers.
Amen to that and very clever story! Yes she would have been able to enter the US on her American passport as they never forced it on US citizens. I got stuck in Thailand in a weird pickle in 2021 which I ultimately just waited out: for a time the province of Phuket would not let you in if you were not jabbed. So I could technically leave with my daughter (dual US/Thailand), going either to the USA or to say Bangkok or northern Thailand, but I could not come back. They caught me in a dragnet even before the jab passports though: I can't wear a facemask and it was insane 100% compliance with that too for a time. Do not comply...

After reading that, I have 'One Night in Bangkok' playing in my head!
Gee, thanks! Now, so do I. 😩
Sorry!! 🙃
Lol
Safe travels!
I can’t stop laughing long enough to understand why I can’t stop laughing at “hold a squirrel up to your ear.”
I haven't stopped laughing at the squirrel one either. It creates this scenario in my head...
The visual alone is hilarious, plus a word string almost certainly never uttered before. Like Carlin’s “Hand me that piano.”
OMG haven’t made it past the first one 🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant set Amy.
The dog, cat and squirrel ones were superb.
Yeah - I think I'm sending out that cat vibe these days, too!
Hoping all goes well with the bureaucracy. I have my own cross-border stories to tell involving my multi-national children.
