Sunday Comics
I did a few meme compilation efforts which Craving Ration hosted:
One person brought up how much they missed the Sunday Comics. So do I! When I was 12 I started my first job delivering newspapers in Ohio. I continued doing it through when I started college.
Perhaps it’s because I’m a Sunday’s child. I only read the comics back then. Due to differences in daily only, Sunday only, and daily-Sunday subscription numbers on the Toledo Blade, the Lord’s day of rest was actually my busiest of the week. The paper route swelled to about 50% more deliveries on Sunday mornings, when the physical newspaper itself was about three times as large. But I got to sleep in a bit because the papers weren’t due until about 10:30 AM, unlike the daily route which had to be finished before starting school at 8:00 and had a 4:30 AM wakeup time.
I liked this one I saw on Patrick.net
Rat Says has good comics along with some shared memes. I do wonder in this case if the tinfoil is lightning proof…
Heather B at Bliss and Blisters had many that I liked
The firebrand Margaret Anna Alice has shared hundreds of memes which maintain that no, Mistakes Were NOT Made. The system is working exactly as intended. So what do we do about it?
Who would you include on this list? I’ve grabbed memes from everywhere. This list is the farthest thing from exhaustive.
I got a chuckle out of this from Inverted Reality, for example.
Who else would I add? Cindy Sheehan? Citizen Satarist? There are so many choice.
But let’s go back to the good old Sunday cartons Comics section:
I’m running just as fast as I can. Do you think I should make Sunday Comics a weekend thing?

My father used the comics each evening to teach me how to read. By 3 I was reading them to him. Rest in peace Dad.
I am deeply indebted to the funnies for giving me my start in life. I believe they created my value system, my sense of humor, and possibly influenced my dress code.
My favourite is YOU!!!
